Thanks heaps for this review mate! The review and the Fit2Box cards really helped me decide to grab a pair of these and sell one of my other gloves. Grabbed a pair on sale in black/gold nappa and what a great glove & the leather how nice is the leather. Cheers

The standard black and white Hammers, Shields and Giants sold out almost instantly as soon as Loma signed with Venum. (Hardly surprising really, but) Turned out to be a good signing for them.

Finger section looks like winning, closure looks like adispeed. I feel like they were inspired by both? Conspiracies on gloves. Lol what the hell am I saying 😆. Well done man, great review

You’d be surprised. I own these gloves and these are the best out of my extensive range. I prefer these to my winnings, fly & rival. The comfort, impact and feel of the glove is unreal

aman singh How well do they wrap around the fist inside the gloves? I’m looking for something that has a snug fit. My Cleto Reyes move around too much. Thank you.

@@rafaelcaroquitero Its very compact around the fist. For the best snug fit I would either recommend Fly or Venum Hammer. If you see Csquared boxing he rates venum in his top 4. can just go with the normal hammer if you wanna save some money

Honestly these are amazing gloves for power punchers they have the flashy design for all the cardio boxers who subconsciously think the gloves are good and cool due to the design

Just bought these in 10oz, I find them to be stiff but compact the foam feels like it could last a few years and the stitching is actually proper less cardboard like compared to the Rival HDEF Guerreros, and Compact like the Everlast Powerlock Pros. 7/10 might take a point or add to it depending how they last over the next 3 months. @@floydjackson4633 yes mate they have my version is the gold and black one and while the metallic gold paint has a few chips missing the glove has been very durable and the foam now feels fantastic. Still wish the thumb was a bit more flexible, and I don't understand why glove manafacturers still insist on apply padding on the thumb compartment the thumb attachement already makes it hard enough to make a natural fist and the extra padding nearly makes it damn near impossible.

I bought a pair of these in 12 oz yesterday. I found them on sale, 150 usd. Do you think they will protect my hands and give that feedback you mentioned on your review on the heavy bag? Not sure if a 12oz will be low protection for the heavy bag, but 150usd for a pair of these is a big deal imo. I weigh 77kg Thank you Simon, keep it up mate💯💯💯

Ensure your hands are correctly wrapped and they should be good for speed work on the mitts and heavy bag🙌🏼👍🏼

Yes i do i use for muay thai. The padding on the face of this glove looks thin but is suprisingly dense good against knees/kicks/elbows

im very big venum fun i bought venum giant 3.0 but i dont like leather my other gloves are better twins and fairtex so i havent used it .im thinking sell it. this one is much better than giant 3.0 it is expensive than cleto reyes it is better ?

@@shropsiberian can you please elaborate. Rivals have been well received by several reviewers as well as fighters. Several active and up-and-coming boxers in famous gyms like TMT have them for training. They're relatively affordable compared to the competition as well. They hold up well too. I've got their RB10 Intelli-shock and absolutely beat the sh*t out of them for almost 2 years and they're holding up well.
