November 5th, 2023, a time I’ll never forget. I met Veronica Taylor at the George R Brown Convention Center in Houston. I shook hands with her, we had a picture together. She signed the autographs for me of April O’Neil of 2003 TMNT and of Ash Ketchum of the original Pokémon series. She even gave me such a big hug. She truly has a heart of gold.💛

She's so sweet. I grew up watching Pokemon before school every morning. Definitely one of my favorite VA's.

I am so happy that Jim Cummings became a VA. Looking over his credits, he was so much of my childhood :) I got to meet him @ Missouri Comicon 2023, and he signed a picture of Pete from A Goofy Movie for me and did his voice as he signed the picture :)

I loved listening to this interview, Jim! You guys worked off each other so well. It's so cool to see Veronica's daughter there with her mother. Seems like a cool mom.

Pokémon never felt the same for me when they replaced Veronica. I remember crying over it as a kid when it happend. Man I would love it so much, now that Ash's journey has ended, if somehow Veronica could re dub Ash on all the other seasons and movies so we have her complete performance through the whole of Ash's journey. But thats just a dream that wont ever happen unfortunately

Veronica is the sweetest woman in the world. I still tear up thinking back to the time I got to spend with her at my local convention.

I totally understand the charm and fun of the Pokemon universe. I never got too deep into it but I love seeing how into it people are. I LIKED THE VIDEO GAMES BC THEY WERE FUN.

Jack Black is THE MAN!!! Grew up with School of Rock (it was the only DVD we had that wasn’t dubbed in another language and I’m like 98% sure we received it as a hand-me-down). Man I took up Bass Guitar because of that movie 🤣 and actually learned Cello later down the line. And no Mr. Black… you can’t just tip it on the side and… CELLO, a Bass Guitar 😂

Anyone else thinking back of the old Pooh's Adventures series on KZfaq now that we have Pooh and Ash in the same room.

It's still not comprehendable why they replaced her as ash it's not like she's an old lady that couldn't handle herself. She's obviously still young in this industry. By the way I do enjoy your other work "His and her circumstances" the anime one of my favorite shows.

Old anime dub voices > New anime dub voices. regardless of how the dub quality itself has fluctuated.

So Ash Ketchum met Tigger

The 4kids dub era of the pokemon anime just had so much more heart and character than the shinoh onward dub which might be more accurate but its way more clinical and bland.. (Xyz is still the best when it comes to the base writing but the original cast and crew would have boosted it more)
