I like to think the girl in the image is smiling because it's dancing with her once alive partner, and although she can't see his face nor hear his voice she is able to recognize him by the way he dances, all the small details he has when she holds her and all the quirks that made her fall in love with him in the first place, even at the doors of death she is smiling, because she will be able to dance with her love for all eternity.

To me, this song is about a girl, who is having a sad broken life. She can't find any hope in life anymore and commit suicide is the only heal available in her eyes. As she dancing to death, she accept death to swallow all her feelings, thoughts and memories. Even though she knew she is foolish and young, she willing to suicide. It's a deep song and a lot of factors can contribute to this outcome (rape, abuse, bully, money, social rejection). This song reminds me that the world isn't a friendly place but when there's despair, there's will always be hope. Seek the light(hope) because commuting suicide isn't the only answer. Always seek help and once you go through those dark days, you be glad that you survived it and you will be helping other innocents too.

マジで頭から足先まで好きすぎるこんな幻想的であり神秘的な曲を一体どんな人生を送ってたら作れるのか... SwitchのVOEZの体験版でこの曲にあって即購入しました、音ゲーはほんとに苦手でプロセカとかも難易度ハードでやっとフルコンできるくらいの実力しかないから基本音ゲーとか買わない主義だったけどこの曲はそんなんどうでもなくなるほど衝撃的だった。実際製品版もとてもいいクオリティで大満足だけどやっぱり1番思い出に残る曲はこれ。引退してからは聞いてなかったけどふと思い出して断片的な記憶だけで調べてすぐ出てきて感動！しかも字幕つけたら和訳歌詞まで出てきて...いっそうこの曲が好きになりました！ありがとうございます！
