Galen had already defeated Shak Ti who was the same species as Ashoka and she was among the last of the Jedi Council (aside Obi-wan and Yoda). I'd say fighting Ashoka would of been a Wednesday to Galen.

Galen Marek was one of the strongest warrior in SW universe at the age of 17.He had endurance,resilience and the ability to adapt his fighting style to his opponent.He was extraordinary skilled with the force,making him a real live juggernaut that punched like an express train.Think just how powerfull he could've become if he didnt sacrifice himself.I am a huge fan of Ahsoka but she didnt bested Galen in any aspects,even physical he was superior despite her racial features.Ahsoka always struggled against physically strong opponents and against skilled one.Ahsoka was an average Jedi that filled her gaps with her quick thinking and reactions,and even here Galen was supperior.He has the best swordfight-force use rotation in both the game and comics.And i disagree his skill are overestimated or hyped,they are underestimated even by himself.

For all the people saying Starkiller is overpowered, he is one of the strongest force users indeed, but not overpowered. Beating Vader? Much easier when you are an expert of sith lightning, his one weakness that keeps him from attacking the emperor. Beating the emperor? It is Palpatine who kills Starkiller at the end, without ever having used his saber in the entire battle. Things are never what they seem with this deceiving schemer. Bringing down a Star Destroyer? It was already falling down, he merely redirected it.

Galen Marek took on a well prepared Vader and won, then he went on to fight the Emperor himself and technically defeated him combat. Ahsoka is a little too low on the totem pole. Starkiller wins.

Eh, saying that if Ahsoka had matured she would've been able to stand against Galen is a fallacy. IF she had matured, so would've Galen, he would be stronger, wiser, and more experienced in the Force and likely several more fighting styles. He defeated Jedi Master Shaak Ti for crying out loud. The suggestion that she is even able to defend herself against Galen is a fallacy. Ahsoka is not trained in Form 7, she would not stand a chance, maybe able deflect to a few lightsaber strokes, she would eventually just fall over because of being overwhelmed by being, quite literally, hammered into the ground.

Ahsoka isnt beating Galen Merek for anything. People often say this because they think Starkiller is too overpowered, and thats honestly not even true. If we compare the Training of both Ahsoka and Galen while under their Masters, Ahsoka doesnt even have it as hard as Galen does. Ahsoka was trained by Anakin Skywalker. Galen was trained by Darth Vader. Those are two different people. Lets compare the two. Anakin was very caring of Ahsoka and worried about what happened to her on her missions, when she trained under him he was very calm and told her what she did wrong in order for her to get it right. Darth Vader was soulless man, he didnt care about Starkiller was injured or killed while training. When Starkiller went on a mission to kill a Jedi master, Darth Vader literally told him "I don't expect you to survive." Darth Vader literally wouldn't have cared his apprentice was killed while on a mission. Darth Vader also had Starkiller isolated and chained up like an animal for long periods of time without food or water. Vader also had Starkiller nearly killed in multiple training exercises in order to ensure that he would know what a Near death experience was like and he would be able to cope with it. Starkiller also had a personal holo droid named PROXY that was programmed by Vader to kill Starkiller at random times, this would ensure that Starkiller is ALWAYS on edge and ready for a Fight. PROXY had that capability of mimicking different Jedi and Sith and their fighting styles in order to be able to get the edge on Starkiller, which means that Starkiller can counter different lightsaber moves, so he will never taken by surprise or outmatched. Starkiller has it a lot worse than Ahsoka does and he has been subject to far more brutal training and even inhumane experiments in order to make him a very deadly warrior, and thats outside of the fact that Ahsoka didnt even complete her training, she left the Jedi Order before she could become a Jedi Knight. Ahsoka is stomped by Starkiller no matter what happens. Period.

Short, straight to the point, brief, but clear, and I have to say I didn't really have any doubt that Starkiller would win, the very premise of his game is that he's an overpowered Force user, and was able to kill many Jedi masters such as Shaak Ti. Would be interesting to see what kind of Force-user Ahsoka would become as an adult, maybe in her exile she would learn more subtle applications of the Force that maybe not even the Jedi could have taught her. But I think the chances now are zero.

Hipster wars fans love to h8 on Mr.Mainstream Starkiller but those same people are the type to quote cannon whenever is suits them. So here it is: Galen Marek is quoted as a ''Force wrecking ball''. Whether he was designed to be 'THE strongest' force user even has been talked about but he was described by developers as a living force weapon. A creature raised for the single purpose of killing master force users and the Empy himself. He is by design, a valid contender for the number one force user in terms of raw power and killing potential. It is possible to beat him as we have seen at times like Vaders backstab, Empy overwhelming him at the end and in FU:2 his darkside ending clone takedown. Exp and cunning is where I would put my money as power and 'skill' would almost always be an uphill battle against SK. Not to mention power is usually pritty clearly showcased through feats where as skill and true cunning is harder to see. Its usually implied and speculated more than seen and known. But in terms of pure guess work, there are only a select few that can even be considerd a sure fire victory. He is built to kill. He may not be the best of anything but I really wish people would stop dancing and take a more direct look at the cannon lore for him. ...and just so we are clear, thats not a comic. Okay so just so we're clear, after going back and watching the cutscenes for the force unleashed again the Star Destroyer was not already going down. It may have been battle worn but thats why it was at the junkyard, to make repairs from other destroyed imperial ships, most of the damage was caused by Starkiller ripping it out of the sky, because he did rip an entire star destroyer out of the sky, pulling it off course from were it was flying- not falling to.

basically galen is a badass simply because he was written to be a badass, as a game character he was meant to be an empowerment fantasy. Ahsoka was written to actually resemble a person who had flaws and shortcomings, and as the clone wars series went on, you actually see her mature quite a bit. Marek was trained all of his life yes, but somehow you overlooked the fact that most jedi are trained from the point they become toddlers, ahsoka was no different. She was only anakin's apprentice for three years, but she had been part of the jedi order before then her entire life as well. If one bases this matchup on a game mostly like TFU and the associated writings then hell, few jedi or sith could even compare to Marek, he is a Mary Sue.
