You guys have a lot of options...what’s the H x W of the twister radiator or the chrome mirrored one next to it? What is the ideal square footage of a room that either could warm up?

Hello Kenrick, I have included the info below about the radiators but please do call (01274 567789) or email (contact@featureradiators.co.uk) or live chat on our website, we can generate accurate heat calculations for you. The Twister is H-1800mm and W-220mm, that model provides 882 Watts, there are other sizes and other outputs in that model available. The Supermirror is H-1500mm x W-430mm and that model provides 1390 Watts. Regarding what space they will heat, that really does depend on the space, so many factors to consider, ceiling height, large expanses of glass, modern builds etc. If you reply on here or contact us on any of the above we will look at the best fit for your space.

I have 3 x 1862H Silver Grey HotSping radiators in an Annex but am thinking of swapping them with some other vertical Rads Flat or Oval tube for higher heat outputs as whilst the HotSprings look good, they don’t heat the room sufficiently in deepest winter. Q. Do some colours of Rads emit more heat than others of equal size ? Eg I think Chrome emits less heat than Anthracite grey.

Hi Bob thanks for your message. Chrome does keep heat close to the product (due to the process of application), so it does not emit as well as finishes. Do you ever hang these vertical radiators onto a back panel ? We are having a new kitchen fitted and want to put the radiators on the panels that match the kitchen.

How do you know whether you need single or double vertical radiator

Usually that decision will depend on the heat required, a double can give you more so best option when a high amount of heat is needed, if you can satisfy the rooms heat with a single then money can be saved as they cost less. How come heating air near the celling is good, all this years we were focuse on heating the air at the bottom since heat floats upwards?

I have one of these radiators fitted recently in my identify plan kitchen everytime I open my sink in bathroom downstairs and slide it a few seconds later if u go next to the radiator it makes a bubbles water noise fir a few seconds. This is the same if I open and close my sink in kitchen. I've had a new boiler installed a week ago. Anyone know what cud be the reason if of my issue and a solution please.

Generally speaking a noise in a radiator is air in it, a radiator that is full of water only, could not make any noises. Other than air, it could be the rate the flow is travelling through the radiator and create a more woosh noise. Either of those would be plausible. The first point raised means trying to bleed the radiator of air, the second point means adjusting the flow ,which is a bit more involved and on the lockshield. Since having a vertical radiator fitted I have noticed the room is nowhere near as warm, I don't think they are good at keeping the room warm but only to look good in the room
