So in real life Shibuya, there's a tall building with a number on it that being109, but in TWEWY the building instead has the number 104. The Shibuya Sora wakes up in had the number 104 on that building meaning it's likely TWEWY Shibuya

Actually the girl looks a lot more like Luna's first interpretation, Stella Nox Fleuret, which was a different character before the game became XV. Pretty much Nomura giving the middle finger to XV during this whole thing lol.

Also the Shibuya thing I think is implying The world ends with you and its theme of partners fighting to get back to the land of the living so Riku could go in to this undead world to save Sora as his partner.

This about Verum Rex and all is really intersting, but I think while Riku is busy exploring Verum Rex, Sora might be busy in Shibuya, but not just any Shibuya but rather TWEWY's Shibuya cuz of the 104 building which is identical to TWEWY's which in turn could be that Sora did indeed suffer the consequences of the power of waking which caused him to perish, which is what leads him to TWEWY's Shibuya to take part in the Reaper's Game. Hilariously enough... I posted this message on a video of Verum Rex. "Imagine the massive troll of a tease... If this was concept footage of KH4. And in the Actual game Nomura replaces the swords with keyblades, and changes the badguys into heartless. Like he made changes to the s enes from the secret endings of the Final Mixes... There Was a character from UX that had a fedora and similar clothes, the red head could be Kairi, and Riku and them are X ammount of years older and fighting in some epic scene... Riku is actually in Shinjuku and not in Shibuya. If you google "shinjuku kabukicho tower" you can see the same building that you can see in Riku's scene, the one Yozora sits on. Also the Shibuya Sora is in is more like TWEWYs Shibuya then you might think, since it has the same 104 logo on that house that TWEWYs Version has, while the IRL Version says 109. Also Sora might be waking up in the same spot Neku did. So yeah, even more similarities between those :D Really hope Sora keeps his promise and visits Neku and the others in their version of Shibuya, even if I was by accident through the power of waking or something lol Also read a theory somewhere on r/kingdomhearts that made a deeper connection between why Sora appeared in TWEWYs Shibuya and how he might be kinda dead and has to play the Reaper's Game after abusing the Power of Waking, which could explain why he landed there. And now he has to play to not fully die? Not sure, I still need to play TWEWY myself, so I'm not that familiar with the lore yet. But Nomura really seems to be setting up for a crossover between KH, TWEWY, FFVSXIII and Verum Rex

I think this is a very plausible and exciting theory. While I loved FFXV, I always wanted to see what Versus XIII could have been. And in terms of Vernum Rex characters replacing FF Characters, I am totally OK with that. I really don't see how else they could tell the story with the Hollow Bastion gang since their arc pretty much concluded when they restored the town to Radiant Garden. I think its time for some more new faces in this next saga, so I say bring it Nomura!

So FFVersus XIII will finally happen but in Kingdom Hearts Universe

Verum Rex isn't based on FFXV, they are the Versus FFXIII version of those characters he was a lead on but then was taken off. Verum Rex literally means "true king" throwing shade at FFXV not being his real vision. He considers FFXIII noctis to be his other son (sora being his first) he obviously can't use FFXIII so he changed them so his other son can be in his game. Assuming these aren't DLC worlds (that would be lame to put those in the secret movie) it can be said we might being getting a more Square focused KH/KH like title. I could see both Yozora being a protag since hes his other son and can finally flesh him out in his own game, or be a villain someone from the lost/forgotten/sleeping worlds. I think Sora is here because he had to go really deep/far to bring Kairi back and Riku followed him and this is also where the master of masters has been this whole time and it was Luxu's plan to make someone strong enough to survive the trip there and possibly back (Sora).

Next saga of kingdom hearts is about sora being in the Nickelodeon universe and he has to help king Tommy save the universe with his friends cat and dog

The Power Of Waking’s mechanics were left way too vague...Plus the fact that it was ‘sleeping’ in Sora? Really? Kinda makes all the world explorations useless. I think we might have another DDD scenario, where Sora might just be playing in the reapers game. Riku goes after him buts end up in Verum rex, both worlds are ultimately one but are split in two. The mysterious figure might be Luxu/Xigbar or MOM.

One things for certain this is some kind of future foreshadowing for KH not just Nomuras salt. Id bet my right nut.

This is actually the theroy a friend of mine came up with: "My guess is that Vernum Rex is a gateway to the FF worlds. That's why you fought Xehanort in a place with the same last name as Noctis. And that's why people riddled Vernum Rex as VS XIII." Due to that theroy, that could ALSO explain the extreme lack of Final Fantasy characters in KH3.

Okay so the next villains are going to be the Lost Masters but why? And how does this tie into Verum Rex? I think it all has to do with the Realm of Sleep. The Master of Masters created the Chirithy, which are Dream Eaters, and they played a big role in Union X. Also, The Dandelions supposedly went to a world of dreams to escape the Keyblade War. Sora disappeared as a consequence of abusing the power of waking and Young Xehanort made it sound like Sora was making the same mistake as he did in Dream Drop Distance so he's probably stuck in the Realm of Sleep. Yozora doesn't exist, and not in the Nobody kind of way, he's just a video game character but it would make sense if the Yozora we see in the Secret Movie is actually a Dream Eater. We've seen humanoid Dream Eaters before with Anti Black Coat, Armored Ventus Nightmare, and technically Riku. It's true that he doesn't share the same aesthetic as the dream eaters but neither does the Armored Ventus Nightmare. He might have the symbol but we didn't get a full view of him.

One thing I noticed from this secret ending is that the '104' building that Sora wakes up and sees, is the same building in 'The World Ends With You' which could mean that from abusing the power of waking Sora is now locked in the games and has to win to be set free. :/ maybe.

My own theory is that Sora is dead and is now in a TWEWY style reapers game with Yazora as a reaper since he is from a “game” in the toy box world

I think Yazora is gonna help Sora and Riku find their way home.

It'd be cool if we got to explore some of square's worlds in the next game instead of disney. especially since there were no final fantasy characters in 3... I bought the first in 2002 because I saw Cloud and Squall on the commerical,. not disney princesses. Give me a darker, mature kingdom hearts. Running around with donald and goofy when I was 11 was ok. Not as cool when you're 26... (although ill always love them haha. ) Cool they brought Stella back in Verum Rex.

I’m glad there’s still hope for Sora to be reunited with his friends. Maybe a ghost version of Xehanort will help Sora return to his friends as a means to atone for his misdeeds throughout the course of Kingdom Hearts.

My theory is....the blue eye in Xehanort’s keyblade (which has existed long before Xehanort) is Yozora’s eye. Notice how he has 1 blue eye and 1 red eye?

I think sora and riku are in two different places. Sora being in Shibuya to play the Reaper’s game to try to get a second chance at life and riku being in the Verum Rex world which for some reason I think will be a DLC world where maybe (hopefully) we play as riku

some more content on this, this info I got from Night Sky Prince if memory serves me right (bad with names and lazy to check), beyond all the things you have said, here is another part that plays into it, as Im sure you know, or hope, Nomura wasnt a really big fan of FFXV, here is why in an interview Nomura was asked who is his favorite character, he said 2 name, Sora and Noctis, he has worked on Sora for more than 10 years, so there is a deep conection there, and he is a good kid, like his first son, and Sora means Sky, while Noctis Caellum means Night Sky, there was a reason he named Noctis like that, he was to be since his inception and how he started to make him, his second son, the oposite to Sora in many ways this was mostly what Nomura said on that topic, so yeah, Nomura may be trying to save his second son here now for more on the secret movie, first where Riku was is actually Shinjuku, just like Sora was on Shibuya, and Insomnia was actually based on Shinjuku, there is even a tower that looks like the one in Insomnia, I think is the Goverment Bureu? not really sure also going a little off topic, have you noticed how many of the titular building in the worlds, the Twilight Town Clock Tower or the Land of Departure main building where shown in the begining cinematic where we got a panning view of Scala Ad Caellum? each of those islands had its own main tower, and you can find those towers in some worlds, and I think mostly in the Worlds in Between light and darkness, also I noted a trend of this game having someone able to use a particular element way beyond what Sora tough possible with his magic, as he notes on certain loading screens when entering a world, like how Zeus Lightings are beyond anything he has been able to do with his magic or how Rapunzel healing Eugine was beyond any type of magic he knew of so returning, another thing those places have in common is with the games The World Ends With You, the main game takes part in Shibuya, and in the added chapter for the Switch rerelease, it takes part in Shinjuku, another interersting point is the hooded man, my bet, he is the Master of Masters, mostly for his body language (arms behind his back to start off) now, for what all of this means, my bet is in 2 baskets, either we have a new game with Sora and Riku as guests, much like Nomura used FF characters on KH before, or the new KH is not gonna have a shred of Disney in it (I would apreciate it since it feels like aside from a few things, the concept is getting a little stale at this point), bringing in IPs that have been not worked on for a long time or even scrapped projects, only reworked a little, just like how Verum Rex is Versus XIII and Yozora is Noctis

Sora is actually in TWEWY's Shibuya. The real-life building is called 109, while TWEWY's version is 104, which is the one we see in the video. Riku on the other hand is in Shinjuku, both are parts of Tokyo.

SPOILERS I feel this entire game was showing off how much Nomura really doesn't like Sora. With him constantly being the center of everyone's jokes, the constant trash talk he gets, seeing the girl he loves getting killed in front of his eyes, and being the only character who does get a happy ending in this game. It makes me so sad to see Sora go out like this, but if he does get his happy ending it will be the most satisfying ending I will ever see in a video game imo.

Every main kingdom hearts game has 2 secret endings, 1 were you just see a little sneak peak where it says quotes and all that, and the 2nd one where you it shows you like an entire cutscene. So I hope square adds the 2nd one where if shows full on cutscenes explaining a little more

There's gonna be story DLC in which Sora's soul ends up in a "the world ends with you" themed world. While in that world he will take part in Reapers' game to get back to Kairi and the others but has to give up all memories of them to participate. It's so obvious.

There's also references to The World Ends With You as well. That scene when the camera pans around Sora to the 104 building thats from that game as well which that game also takes place in an alternate version of Shibuya
