For those not familiar with the Guards, you can tell that they are from the Welsh Guards by the pattern of the buttons on their tunics. They are in sets of five.

Our military in South Africa pre -1994 were very good but since this other crowd of things took over,they sound like tin cans!!!!

@@dynamitewallflower The difference here is that they were not posting any guardsmen. The officer is doing rounds to inspect the guards on sentry, and is escorted by 2 guardsman and the senior sergeant.

You really need to get a grip of your video titles. The officer of the Guard visiting the sentries. These videos are watched by veteran Guardsman. With silly titles you just look foolish. You don't need to clickbait, people are interested and will watch.

My late father was a Grenadier Guard. He would be appalled by the ignorance of people who think it is rare for a soldier to march!

This is just the officer of the Guard doing his rounds, as the Officer in charge of the Windsor Castle King's Guard, part of his job is to check on the welfare of his Soldiers
