I used engine oil 10W-40 to filled it with some oil.

What about the two hidden scews at the top and the knurled know knob? I don't see you remove or replace them. And what's that black knurled know you show for half a second? Very confusing.

Yes. The oil helps trap dirt and pollutants.

If you change air filter sponge, does it effect speed of your scooter

If you want to change,make sure it is a genuine part or OEM part.This is the part number-( 487401 ).No it does not affect the speed.
