Vespa px / smartcarb sc2 installation

In this episode we install a 28 mm smartcarb sc2 in a Piaggio Vespa px 150.
The test drive and review has to wait until later in the spring because there is too much snow right now.

Do you recall what your settings were on the smartcarb2. IE. clicks out from on the top and the measurement changes to the idle screw?

@@peterwriede7772 ohh, sorry I don’t remember the settings. But it was a lot of trying with the clicks before I got it right.

det är kul att se din kanal växa!! just nu har jag tagit ut motorn på min px 125e. ska byta samtliga packninga, sen byta cylinder till en polini 177 0kopplingen till en DR sport. ska även byta lite annat smått och gott såsom statorkablar och ny cdi box. önskar dig lycka till med vespan framöver! mvh/ Arvid

Ja det är kul, hoppas det kan bli något bra. Sen får man ta det för vad det är, jag är inget mek-proffs. Jag delar med mig av det jag gör och lär mig saker på vägen.. Lycka till med bygget, det kommer bli stor skillnad 👍.

Yes indeed, works perfectly fine with stock discvalve.

Is Automatic Oil Mixture on vespa cannot be use if we use sc2?

No you can not use the automatic oil mixture with the sc2.

Hello, My 2015 PX touring is same model and colour with yours, but I didn’t find any tag on my chassis, do you know what colour code is? It will help for my paint retouch.

Hello. I’ve sold the Vespa so I can’t check what paint colour it is. But I’m pretty sure it’s Grey Seta 791/B.

Hello. There will be a video with my thoughts and a test dive later. I bought a new Vespa and moved the carb to that one instead. But it seems too work well. But is it worth the money?

@@Nordicexplorer1 1st of to use this type carb iys the best setting at the time you make tuning your vespa. Otherwise its big for original cylinder. But.... With this type carburetor you fix the problen with leak oil. Never leak oil. All the vespas with original carburetor has leak oil problen. I like to much the smart carb but its expensive for me.
