So sip say to use dot 5.1 with calliper would it work as good with dot 4 or would I have to change fluid line for one suitable for dot 5.1

hello, I want to ask about the problem of installing disc brakes on my vespa px, a few days ago I tried to install disc brakes on my vespa but after all the parts for the disc brakes were installed the piston on the caliper didn't work so the brake lever on the brake master above lost pressure when I'm trying to press it, can you provide insight to overcome this problem? Just for information, the caliper that I use is the new Piaggio brand caliper, thanks in advance.

I have a question about the master cylinder. I need to replace all the rubber. Can I just empty the master cylinder then refill again, or do I have to bleed the brakes?

U mean the rubber cover of the piston (or the piston itself?) and the one under the lid?

@@FreakMoPed8 The rubber cover on the outside of the piston. I was going to take it all apart anyway since the rebuild kit comes with all new rubbers for the piston.

if you do not pull out the piston but hold it in with your finger, then no bleeding needed. nope :)
