I have become a big fan of your videos, when I lived in San Diego, I used to pass by your shop all the time, never went but it peeked my interest. Now that I live in Spain, I discovered that Vespas is a big deal in Europe. I bought my own, joined a local Vespa club and now I'm crazy about it. 😂 Thank you for all your videos❤

Very useful în explaining how they all work together, I have an LX125 here in europe an I am craving for at least 60mph or 100km/h but I can barely get 85km/h and I was thinking which is better and easier for the home mechanic CDI + variator but add to the engine wear or the 190 cc kit

(according to Malossi EU web store) the var kit fits but not the Injtronic and the Cylinder kit

I thought iGet also included the new liquid cooling system too, instead of the traditional air cooling fins on the engine head? Maybe I'm wrong.

huge not but the engine running smooth.Acceleration ll be much better but i dont recommend those 6.1 gr weights.u can use stock or little heavier rollers.

Yep, all these components are available for the 150 as well as a couple exhaust options and an upgear kit for higher top end speed. You'll be able to keep up with a 300 pretty well!

Hey, if i opt for 79cc cylinder and the injtronic M5518409; does the variator make any difference at this stage? should i add it?

If you want the maximum performance with the parts shown, we'd say get all three. The variator kit will make quite a big difference whether you have the cylinder kit or not. Thanks for watching!

cyl kit is the same compatible with all v2 v3 and v4 engines.if u have iget u ll pay extra for that ecu and stil not going fast enough.

I paid for EVERYTHING to be upgraded on a new 50cc Typhoon 4T 50. 2017. MUCH Better Acceleration. 3MPH WORSE/LOWER TOP.... it's was GREAT until it wasn't.... :(

why does the primavera 50 state 4.1 hp at stock and the sprint 50 only rated at 3.2? Thats over 20% increase!

I know this is an old comment. I think it depends on the year. My 2018 Primavera is listed as 3.2 hp I believe. The earlier ones have more power.

pay attention there is a little upgrade between eu4 and eu5 so buy the good one.check in malossi catalog.

I have a vespa sprint 50cc iget with malossi variatorkit and the ecu. Its only going like 52kmh (32mph) anyone who knows where the problem might be?

The ECU (the computer box things) limits the top speed as-well as the revs. You will need to purchase a new ECU to get the speed up higher. Just be sure to buy the ECU for the original motor and not the ECU For the cylinder kit

I have one problem. I have installed this exact variator kit on my vespa sprint 50 2020, and acceleration is much worse than it was with original. Any suggestions what should i do? Should i change roller weights or maybe buy malossi cdi?

We installed the CDI from Mallosi and we reached top speed of 58 km/h, additional we installed also the Hi speed variator from Pollini and now is Vespa Sprint 50 iGet going only 45 km/h . Where is the problem ?

I bought a variator, an air filter and CDI (everything is Malossi). Is there any difference which detail I will change first? Which detail should I change first? First - variator, second - air filter and third - CDI?

@@amerpintol4008 Yes. I have installed an air filter, a variator and CDI (everything is Malossi). Now the top speed is 69 km/h.

@@tomasnorvilis4731 I have now insted the CDI (malossi cdi 5518205) and now i reach 55km/h with the orginal sleeve, when i put the malossi sleeve i get 60 km/h but i can not reach top hils, on hills he can't get me out , sto i but back the orginal. And i'm now thinikig to instal the mallosi variator kit.... and one more did you use the 6.1 gram rollers that came with it ???

@@amerpintol4008 Yes, I use 6.1 gram rollers. My vespa also goes slowly up the hill. It takes a long acceleration to reach 69 km/h.

get an old v2 engine is the cheapest to tune.the v4 are little faster too.for these latest v3 injection engines u pay extra 100 for only the ecu.

I don't know about how unexpensive works. Installing all of these 3 options costed me 1,200 euros. And top speed now is only 65 kilometers. Engine lite is on all the time. They told me at Vespa service it's because the sensors can't be adapted to the changes.

thats why ignore all these iget crap.get before 2018 engine with carb.much easier and cheaper to tune.malossi kits for carb and iget are the same only for the iget u pay extra for that ecu.same story back in the ditech times.but carb engines are going much faster.these iget engines stil have limited power.
