I love how this show acknowledges that people are complex. Mac is a good executive producer, but she was also emotionally weak, cheating on Will with her ex. Will was a good anchor who was damaged by what Mac had done to him, but in trying to get past her became petty in rubbing her face in it. Multidimensional characters who act like heightened versions of real people and not fictional stereotypes.

I would argue that being a professional cheerleader makes her better than a high school cheerleader in literally every way

I HATED when Will brought all these women to parade in front of Mac's nose, but goodness, this scene was funny ! I love Mac & Will (and yeah, Jeff & Emily had great chemistry as well).

Mac, a perfectly reasonable character most of the time went bat shit insane whenever Will was involved. Like she cheated on him, why tf does she get to have any say in who Will dates?

Ya know, i looved this show, wished something like this existed, but they made the "smartest" woman on the show, an insecure, petty, jealous, cheater. Really could have done more like with maggie's character. Best character arc int he show. You dont get to cheat on someone and then get jealous of them.

I mean i get that shes all manic and crazy but things like this are very unhealthy for a mindset.. shes soo territorial over someone she has no right or obligation to be that way with.
