Thanks. Sorry for the crappy quality but it was completely unplanned while at the range. We took the footage with an iPhone 5s in 120 FPS

A lot of the recoil is not from the muzzle blast... you’d see much more reduction in rise and sight movement if you’d tune the gas system. The rifle shown is overgassed and the best comp in the world won’t resolve the bolt slamming back and forth.

Robert Crow you are correct. I had the gas setting turned up from running some cheap underpowered steel cased junk. Never flipped it back to where I run good brass case ammo.

KK40384 have you tried a JP scs? If you want to completely kill muzzle rise/flip, run a rifle length system, low-mass BCG, JP scs with white spring, and adj gas block. It’s almost like cheating for 3gun.

Robert Crow I have tried a friend’s rifle that was running almost that identical setup and it is smooth and flat. My goal with this one was to stay as smooth as possible and still keep reliability over a wide range of loads with nothing more than a few clicks of the gas block. It’s done that just fine for its purpose.
