great video and skills on display. the sequence of all the maps of the month is really impressive! really underscores how much high-quality stuff there is. thanks for putting this awesome video together!

I wish VG Maps could and would get maps for a Genesis game called "Fatal Labyrinth." That one has 31 floors to its dungeon, two of which are always the same, but the other 29 floor plans all shift their elevation like a deck of shuffled cards every time you start a new game. 9 of those floor plans, and only 9, have a pit you can fall through and end up repeating that floor. It would be nice if there could be maps showing where those pits are, and where alarms are that bring all enemies after you on some of the floors.

So much incredible stuff! Have any of the contributors made guides on how to create some of these wonderful maps? Same with the maps in this channel - they all blow me away, just thinking of the process is wild and fun but I bet it is difficult!

Yes! There are actually numerous discussions in the VGMaps forums where tools & techniques are described on how to make these maps. It is definitely a labor of love and these contributors really deserve all the recognition for their hard work that we all can now enjoy.

plenty of the maps of the months are questionable. others understandable to promote the site due to the fad of the month more so than the map quality. On another note maybe make a video how you make your atlas videos.
