I saw Tom Jones live a year ago. He’s still got the voice. The concert was amazing. I was right up front and so close to him. His stage presence and voice were on fire, he is 82 years old now and can still sing like he did 50 years ago. Please check out his new album, so many amazing songs in there, Crumble and Im growing old will have you in tears.

This is no real duet, somebody mixed the two recordings. But Elvis and Tom spent time together during the sixties, loved to sing together and admired each other.

Tom joined a number of the back-stage "sing-a-longs" - he also had gospel roots, but no duet was ever purposefully scheduled and recorded. They were friends, and would often catch the other's show if they were in Vegas at the same time.

The first I know of was Lisa Marie singing a “duet” with her father with the songs “ Don’t cry daddy “, “Nobody stands alone” and “In the ghetto” . Others include Michael Buble and Elvis singing “Fever” and Celine Dion singing “ If I can dream”. All , I believe, tributes to Elvis, especially Lisa Marie’s. Yes, Tom and Elvis were on stage together - Elvis would visit Tom when Tom was performing in Vegas - but contractually Elvis was not permitted to sing with Tom as he performed in a different Hotel on the strip. This audio has been edited - sounds to me as if Tom‘s original vocal has been lowered in pitch in order to match the key Elvis sang the song in. Elvis loved Tom‘s voice and they were friends for many years - which would not have been the case had Tom not been such an open, friendly no bullshit kind of man.

Elvis and Tom didn't perform on stage together in a duet...they never recorded anything together either....Tom was a big fan of Elvis and Elvis loved Toms vocal...very similar....There are photos of Tom and Elvis on stage at a Tom performance in Las Vegas....I prefer Elvis' voice but there is no doubt Tom had the vocals also but I think Elvis' sex appeal was a natural thing and Toms had to be manufactured a little.....nice review and stay healthy 💪
