Vibrant performance muffler with the vibrant ultra quiet resonator on 03 S2000

Was looking for a nice deep quiet exhaust vs a loud one. The combo I choose was a Vibrant performance muffler and the Ultra quiet Resonator. Loving the sound hopefully I’ll test the decibels one day and stay under the Laguna Seca allowed max. Really want to race that track one day.

@@redrolla Still haven't got it made up yet, kinda leaning more towards a valved rear muffler at the moment. But if I get the vibrant set up I'll be sure to upload a video

@@roganjohanning4336 Oh no kidding, nice haha. I ended up getting a valved rear muffler and god damn it screamed when it was open. Cool having the option but I think the vibrant set-up would've sounded better overall

Best sounding Honda I've heard. Not in your face fart canny sound. Actually sounds like how a 4 cylinder should, which is NOT a lawn mower.

@@lexuspod I’d probably do 2 ultra quiets for how quiet I want it but it’s tame at normal driving and opens up loud in vtec

My track car build is going to be AE85 Corolla Levin with a S2000 f20c engine in it and I love that sound of your exhaust on your S2000 I'm thinking about doing the same set up when I do my S2000 swapped Corolla Levin

That sounds perfect. I have this same set up (2.5”) and it’s way louder than this. I guess I probably have an exhaust leak somewhere. This is exactly the tone and quietness I was looking for when I did mine

walmag87 yup same, stock header, factory cat, vibrant ultra quiet resonator and vibrant muffler. Has to be an exhaust leak on mine because yours sounds way better and quieter

That sound is perfect. I need something like that in my N line. I'm running factory cat with secondary cat delete, replaced factory resonator with some long tube SS resonator and then took off the factory muffler and replaced it with flowmaster super HP2. The sound is awful and it drones at highway speeds. I didn't know that the super hp2 was for street rods when I bought it, lol!

Hear me out, I have a 2011 spec v sentra with the QR25DE and I just installed unequal length header and 2.75 inch midpipe. I’m going to get a 3 inch exhaust made with these parts should be mint.

3 " tip my local muffler shop had it and I picked it . Sorry don't know brand but ask any muffler shop they have multiple basic tips.

Hello, is that the 1106 muffler? I have a magnaflow 11386 and 2 vibrant ultra quiet resonators and I’ve been having the car for over a year on that. Thing is it sounds good , but it’s too loud and someone has two of these for a good price new .

@@walmag87 does the car also have a cat?? I already bought an ultra quiet res and the same stealth black muffler months ago for my ek k20a build, based on this vid. I'm welding up my exhaust tmm and I'm considering also adding an additional resonator, or an 08 si chambered muffler if your car also has a cat. I want something mildly quieter eventhough I'd be completely happy with your tone. The way I see it, a 2hp loss up top can be tuned out, with all the benefit of actually being able to beat on the car daily without drawing attention. Hate fart cannons. Always have.

Any other mods besides muffler box and resonator?. My vibrant muffler came in but I’m not sure if it will sound loud with the stock resonator. All my exhaust pipe is stock

Adrian JF Not really a mod but have the ballade sports intake filter and induction hose but using stock air box. Other then that used a 2.5 pipe from cat back.

Not at all. That’s a fairly new semi-slick. Less tread and a softer stickier compound. Much more grippy than a bald all-season tire
