Milt Jackson began his recording career in 1945, when he did a recording session with Dinah Washington. One of the tracks he played on is a 12 bar blues called "No Voot, No Boot".
In this solo, you can hear his knowledge of #bebop phrasing, upper structure harmony, and #blues all in one place - which is why this short and sweet solo makes such a great etude for you to practice!
I've loaded the solo onto Soundslice, and you can find it here: www.soundslice.com/slices/JHfMc/
