Gotta say this was quite heartwarming. Ken's course might not be for everyone but his heart is in the right place as others have opined and mentioned. Sure some of his stuff might be cringe-worthy but you know what, sometimes self-improvement can be cringy at times. He clearly helps people in some way or form otherwise it wouldn't be a thing still. Eclectically heartwarming I would say.
@thekenconklin
@thekenconklin 2 жыл бұрын
I appreciate the comment! Oh yeah, what 24 year old doing this type of stuff wouldn't be cringy? But hey, the more I experience, the more I grow. Check out my reaction video man, I think you'll get a kick out of it
@twentytwo138
@twentytwo138 Жыл бұрын
I think the ''cringy'' parts are exactly what some weak men need. He was being tough, but he also showed heart, emotions and respect. He was almost like a father figure, and most men who are weak have some daddy issues, so it's great way to reach a weak man. Some trainers and coaches are too hard and it's counterproductive, some of them are too soft and their coaching is useless, but this guy is perfectly balanced and on point. And it felt really personal, if he puts the same effort into every client as with Taji, i'd say he's the best coach in the world. Honestly, to me this is much better than the standard professional life coaching. Some of the coaches we are used to seeing are even cringier because they are so confident and make it look easy and simple, but it's not. Ken shows how hard it can be, but also shows you can do it.

I didn’t know that Kylo Ren ran a physical improvement program! In all seriousness, great job with this VICE. I feel like topics such as sec-improvement, productivity, self-reflection, and most importantly: self-discipline are some of the most lacking but sought after aspects of our generation. I really like these topics and I think the next best thing to cover would be BUD/S training for the Navy SEALS, the people in that training are some of the best and most committed people I think you’ll ever see. And if you take the time to talk to even just one of the recruits or instructors, I think we as the viewers can take more from that than we could from this video alone. Good job VICE. I hope to see more like this in the future!

As a Infantry Army Veteran I was sceptical and judging this video the entire time watching it. Thinking "What does a 24 year old have to offer Older Men and Young Adults be a Better Man" with him barely being a Young Adult himself. Every Physical Training he had them do had me SMH 😆. But towards the end of the episode I was moved and touched when he had Taji buried in the Sand and giving him that Advice then Screamed 100%. That's when I realized Ken has my Respect and Definitely has a Great Business thought out... 👏👏👏👏 Much Respect Taji for the Episodes you keep putting out, and to Ken for the "Better Man Project" you have thought to give Men a boost in life to gain the Courage they have been seeking for.

@@thekenconklin Ken, I'm a well-known skeptic and hater. But I think you're doing a pretty solid job of pushing your clients to their limits and then checking in with them and talking about what they're experiencing. I had so many coaches growing up who I assume were trying to teach me life lessons, but they never explained the benefit of the challenges. As a coach myself now, I try very hard to explain why we do what we do and how it will help us in the future. I've got 11 years on you and it took me a long time to learn some of these lessons you're trying to teach. So I think you're ahead of schedule. The world is a wild place. So crazy to see all of these little businesses that pop up to fulfill some need or want that humans have. Taji is the best and I feel like I learn something new about people or life each time I watch one of his videos.

I agree 100% about the part that if we died right now and started to regret about the things we couldn't change because we procrastinated so much and made so many excuses. That's like the worst form of mental torture for me. All that potential of being your best self just went down the drain. I lose sleep over it sometimes.

This was amazing! I know a lot of Taji's docs are satirical and cynical in nature but this was different. I'm really impressed with Ken and his program. I'm more of a Dark Knight guy myself but I get it. I really get the feeling that Ken is motivated by bringing other people up with him as he builds his business and finds his way. I'm sure he will have great success in life.
