One of the reasons drugs are so strong and full of different things is because they are illegal and unregulated. These test sites are saving people. It's like when people say "you're more likely to get hit by a bus than die from a shark attack" - well no shit, how many buses vs. sharks do you interact with? You can only compare death rates between two substances when there's a similar level of exposure

The effects of MDMA usually begin about an hour after taking the substance. It tends to peak quickly, within about an hour after the effects first start to appear. You’ll feel a greater sense of euphoria, pleasure, social bonding, connection with the people around you, and your perception of sights and sound will change. MDMA is not a hallucinogen in the traditional sense, but it can make lights and colors appear more vibrant.

Felt like telling him that more than half the people he knows will have took drugs before 🤦♀️ he also was an avid believer that u got addicted the first time u did heroin, to that I said if that was true then I’d be addicted to heroin because I was given fentanyl loads after a serious operation 😂 he said no but it’s the high u get that makes u addicted, I was like nah I loved that stuff when they injected it into me but still didn’t start tryna score on the streets after.

Some people are more susceptible to addiction in general (particularly if there's a family history of it) and their mental health and history of trauma can play a significant role in increasing their chances of becoming addicted after very few uses. But that's not everyone and governments have latched on to those cases to take it as far as to restrict pain medications for people who legitimately need them.

My only concern is that with legalization will come an entire drug entertainment industry, and addiction might become more common place as big pharma starts pumping out synthetic highs with consistent experiences.
@eddy06036 жыл бұрын
Decriminalize it, legalizing it would increase the amount of people overdosing it. And also ban drug use in specific situation like while driving or at work. And also leave harmful addictive substances like meth, heroin and coke as it is today. It's very easy to get hooked on those. Imagine how much would the government make if people get fined when they're got on possession just like when they're speeding.
@crimsonstar1086 жыл бұрын
Eddy Burg a simple fine makes sense. It makes a hell of a lot more sense than spending resources jailing people. @lochiepitt797 жыл бұрын
Tyler Okay so ecstasy is going to be dangerous no matter what, it's just the danger of overdose can be minimised if you know exactly what is in it. Many people take a dose of what would typically be fine but because it contains some dangerous chemical other than mdma they overdose. If regulation is a long stretch then there should at least be free lab testing so you know what you have.

MDMA is extremely neurotoxic and does screw with the bodies ability to auto-regulate (which when combined with raves = deaths from hyperthermia). That being said, I think people should be able to do whatever they want as long as it doesn't hurt other people and these drug testing programs should also clearly be legalized.
@drugsinc.96867 жыл бұрын
The only reason MDMA should be legal is for medicinal purposes, such as PTSD treatment and relationship counselling. The reason is because it can take quite a toll on the physical body, especially the heart. I was a pretty fit individual, but after a lot of MDMA over a period of a few months, the heart began to hurt and beat abnormally. This is because the heart is not designed to beat that long and hard as it does on MDMA. Sometimes after taking MDMA, the heart was still racing by the next day. I've heard that it can also cause tissue scaring to the heart.

@@differentbutsimilar7893 YES! 100% Prohibition creates a trillion dollar, global unregulated market where its not about producing the best/cleanest product or best customer service or anything like that, no. This trillion dollar, global unregulated market is controlled by power, fear and who is the most willing to kill to get on top. End of story, thats what makes the whole industry, the whole unregulated industry, so fucking dangerous! Step 1. Decriminalize drugs - What that does is stops punishing the end user, the addict, JUST for being an addict. The only people this helps is the addicts. It also means you can move TONS of funds away from catching and punishing users and put that towards education and rehabilitation and HARM MINIMIZATION. Step 2. With all the money saved from conviction/punishment etc.. Introduce programs where in users get their "fix" legally BUT they have to meet particular conditions (this has been trialed to success in Europe) such as getting 1 "hit" of their drug in exchange for some counseling sessions or a subsidized work program (getting the addicts back into working, back into feeling like members of society again and not like outcasts) Step 3. Legalization - If you're not a drug user, this doesn't change your life in any way shape or form. Period. Anyway.. You make the drugs legal, this means "cartels" now have to go up against pharmaceuticals companies who can make/distribute the drugs cleaner, safer and cheaper than the cartels can. You place restrictions on the drugs similar to alcohol (can't drive on them, cant operate heavy machinery on them etc etc etc) Now what happens is you see an increase in tax revenue (from the stores selling the product + from the employees of those stores paying income tax etc etc) and can put that money into more education/rehabilitation/harm minimization programs and also put that money into healthcare or infrastructure programs, whatever, anything. Its a win/win. The only losers are the cartels, the for-profit prison systems (because intake will go DOWN drastically) and the police departments (who wont get as much funding as their wont be as much crime) The winner is society.

Lane Eardink The substance itself is actually not deadly at all 😂 It is deadly when you use it wrong (drink no water, overheat, etc) or when you take a pill which contains another deadly substance. Actually if you'd think about it, making it legal would also make it less deadly, because people would get to know how to use it and also wouldnt take any deadly pills.

Lane Eardink Yes, but she did not say that tobacco or alcohol are deadly.... look at the people at the raves that take mdma! they all look like dissapointments, not to menyoin that mdma is an addictive drug. @sinceremage97 жыл бұрын
Martin Piber mdma is a psychedelic, therefore its not addictive, and the reason these people look like that are because their lifestyles actively feature massive seratonin releases, probably a few times a month, and all evidence and research suggests that there is a high chance that mdma is neurotoxic. Everything in minority is safe, and look at greenies bro, they're constantly fried, cannabis isn't as abusable as you think. P.s there is just so much wrong with ur thinking i think its time to do ur own research instead of listening to other people
@obshaky7 жыл бұрын
MDMA is not physically addictive -- meaning, a person who uses it on a regular basis will not suffer physical withdrawal like an alcoholic or a heroin addict gets sick when they stop using. However, like most drugs, it makes you feel really, really good, so it can be psychologically addictive, and as with most drugs, regular users can build up a tolerance to it. Ecstasy works by releasing ALL of the serotonin at once so it's a pretty powerful feeling even more so when it's taken with friends in festivals, dancing etc. meaning it's a pretty powerful psychotherapy

Not legalize! DECRIMINALIZE! Canada "legalized" weed and now our laws are fucked. Dispenseries are all out of stock, you buy your weed and it's molded or its not the amount you actually paid for. Example some people pay for 3.5 grams and actually end up only having 2.5 grams of weed in your container. Then when you get tired of the government's bullshit and go buy it off the street you can get really fucked by the new laws. Like let's say you were carrying an amount of weed you'd have only gotten a fine for before legalization, well now after legalization you can get up to like 5 years in jails for the exact same infraction. Basically our government has us in a corner and they are abusing their powers. You don't want legalization, you want decriminalization.

@@inolongerwanttolive3239 Decriminalizing does nothing in the terms of having it controlled? Everything would continue the exact same path the only difference is that you can't get jail time.

Agreed. Legalise, decriminalised, tax, regulate and sit back and relax. People over complicate.
