They are wonderful but expensive. I've been to Mikimoto pearl farms in Japan. And Rarotonga to see the black pearls at Cooks Corner in Avarua. I managed to buy a couple of small pearls in a setting for my mum from each country. The necklaces were way beyond my means. One was over $115,000 New Zealand dollars. But the shop told me it took three years to match the pearls. Thanks for the great video of Tahiti black pearls. Cheers.
