This made me cry. :,) Corpse Bride was a huge part of my childhood, I was obsessed and I would play this song over and over inside my head everyday and it would even help me fall asleep at night. As silly as it sounds, i would’ve been quite different without that one movie... It was the first thing I’d ever watched that really excited me and messed with my emotions! So I’m really happy that I can play it now, thanks! It means a lot and I appreciate your hard work! :)

i have trouble playing with two hands as well so what i do is practice the rhythm i need to be playing and then memorize the bass line so i can focus on the treble while playing and take it slow once its in your hands going faster will be easier

Anyone can learn to play an instrument. It’s all about dedication, practice and not giving up when it gets difficult. My grandmother was blind and learned to play beautifully just by tone alone. So even not being able to understand sheet music isn’t an automatic failure. Do what works best for you!

Strxberri_ Milk i feel ya sis,, but if you still need advice, it’s easier to break it up into mini sections and focus on trying to keep both hands in time with each other rather than learning each hand separately and trying to combine them afterwards

Try learning the right hand first (it’s harder) then try putting in the left hand too and put the video into 0.5x then 0.75x and it’ll gradually become easier.

Wonderful Sophie well I'd start slowly and break it down into little pieces and lean it little by little but I'd also recommend you learning it through sheet music because it tells you the tempo and it already brakes it down into measures so you can lean one each at a time and it'll be quicker to learn too hope this helps

Blue is the bass line and green in called the treble. Learn both hands separately and then put them together. It tough for a couple of month but eventually it won’t be so frustrating. Just keep going and don’t give up. :))

my advice is that practice the parts so frequently you don't have to even think about it!!! muscle memory WILL take over. I can play fur elise with my eyes closed since i've played it so many times. Another word of advice would be to count the notes, for example, assign each note a number, like the first note you press down would be one. Learn that hand first and then practice the second hand, matching the numbers with what notes are played at the same time.

Wonderful Sophie , Play each part a few time separated, once you got them down apart slowly start playing them together. This song especially shouldn’t be too hard, try with something simple like this and for me at least in a months time you can move to harder songs. But, don’t keep playing easy songs or you’ll never learn much . Good luck , 😀

sheet music may seem harder, but when you learn all the notes nd stuff uu wont think its hard anymore . rn im using the video bc my dad barelt got me the piano . I've been playin piano for over 3 years ( from school ) buh now dat my dad got me my own . ii think im gonna go with sheet music in 2 weeks . its easier than uu think . juss learn the notes :))

This version is not okay for this beautiful breathtaking song. I have been learning how to play the original song for the last year. I finally know all of the notes and can put it together just gotta work on my speed. It really is stunning and not the most difficult piece to learn. Personally I like to just jump in to the hard stuff get really frustrated for a while and pick it up just like that. It's the first song I ever learned on piano and now because of it I can play sound of silence as well as nothing else matters. Thank you to our greats for coming up with the most majestic piano pieces!!
