It was a tank year last season for the spurs because we weren’t championship ready so no point in pops running repetitive winning plays, instead working on weaknesses.

Wemby was literally at the top of the league in usage rate while playing under 30mins a game for almost the entire season. They fed him constantly if you watch full games not just highlights. There was even a stretch where the lobs were the only way Wemby knew how to get open because fighting for position would tire him out quick. Eventually teams started doubling him while he was off the ball with a man fronting him to play the pass. People also ignore all the times they get him the ball and he immediately turned it over. Mind you two starters on the spurs just turned 20 years old. What do you expect from the youngest team in the NBA.

Yup Wemby has the highest offensive and defensive peaks in NBA history. No disrespect for Luka who is one of the best offensive players we have ever seen but Wembys offensive peak is actually higher than Lukas which is actually scary.

2:24 so this 2.24 meter tall man blocks a 3 point attempt, and despite that height he has the speed and agility to get the ball. The defender doesn’t think this monster will have the handles to bring it up the court himself but apparently he hasn’t read the scouting report. Wemby has been working with J Crossover all offseason.
