Spiritual surgery. To that, this is my testimony. At a worship concert, the Holy Spirit put a picture in my mind. It was one of my biological children (twins, boy and a girl) that we gave up to adoption years prior. I said "God, I thought I dealt with all this already." IMMEDIATELY I felt, physically felt, my heart being tremendously squeezed and it dropped me to my knees! Crying out to Jesus, I felt my heart being gently released from the grip. The revelation came later. The Holy Spirit shared "Yes you thought you dealt with it, BUT you were still holding onto a lot of regret and sadness. What I did, was crushed your heart, and in doing so, squeezed OUT everything that was not of me. And when I started to release your heart, like a sponge, it was soaking up and absorbing all of Me. Love. Grace. Peace. Forgiveness. Everything of who I Am." I will never forget that encounter, not only with the Holy Spirit, but Jesus Christ, for ONLY by His stripes and His shed blood we ARE healed!
