A fabulous entertainer and a true professional. From As Seen on TV to dinnerladies, she bought a new perspective to observational 🔭 comedy and her work is still enjoyed today. God bless you Miss Wood ❤ 😊

this is one of the few things in life I can thank mum for, a love of Victoria Wood, well that and Bill Bryson, but as a fellow northern female, she does us pround and if I am even 100th as funny as her at times I will be a very happy person indeed

my teacher went to bury grammar school, which is the same school that this woman went to as a child and has always said how this woman made all their lives a living hell.

Victoria Wood. Like Jo Brand, a great excuse to turn the TV off. Bernard Manning was an utter comic genius who is so poorly and unfairly portrayed on TV and in modern media. Victoria Wood wasn't fit to lace his boots in terms of being funny.

Perhaps you may have grown as a person in the eight years since this comment, but while I agree that Bernard Manning was a fantastic comedian, pulling Victoria Wood down, who was so obviously brilliant too, is a pathetic way of expressing it.
