Alot of those ceilings were stamped out of copper, especially back then. After they would discolor people would paint them. Now I'm not saying that these are all stamped out of copper but wouldn't be surprised if some or maybe all were. I'm super curious.

Noticed in the pics there is plastic sheeting wrapped around the bottom of the house. What are the foundation and basement statistics? Much work to be done in that regard?

That is banking, Maine winter habit for us in Aroostook County! Rock mortar foundation and extra course of bricks to make adding windows for light and ventilation easier IDPAA!

The power circuit breakers are in the garage and easy to get to and yes, lots of updates to the electrical. It was built before new fangled power !
