I agree 😂 For robos you need a camera that has a fast shutter speed! Otherwise it's hard to photograph them haha!

If you have an iPhone, I suggest taking a video of your hamster & use the camera button in the video it has now. It works for me! (I don’t have a robo but I have 5 hamsters ♥️)

I feel like healthy, well-cared for Chinese dwarf hamsters just live forever, because mine lived to be almost 4, and she never even slowed down then, so it was quite a shock when I lost her. But I definitely would also like to think Waddles is immortal 😂❤

My hamster sadly passed last night. Thank you for all the information in your other videos! I did comment on your other posts asking questions about my hamster “hibernating” we tried warming him up all day. But he went to heaven at 8:30 last night. Thank you so much again!

Re: clipping nails I use 7000 grit - very fine sandpaper. I put the sandpaper on my chest while reclining, and I put the hamster on the sandpaper. Their paws will arch, and their claws will stick out as they try to gain traction on the sandpaper. I do keep my hand on the hamster, so he does not slide off of the sandpaper. It does not take very long, as the hamster moves their feet on the sandpaper trying to hold on, all of its nails are worn down by the sandpaper. This really works and it is so easy to do and so fast to do all their nails at the same time. The hamster wonders what the heck is going on, but other than that, they are fine with it. THANKS for all the great ideas and advice in your videos!

Thank you so much for your videos. My 9-year-old son got a hamster on his 7th birthday and his hammy is still alive and going strong at just over 2 years old now. The first year or so of his life I didn't know enough, then I found your channel and earlier this year we built Hammy a large enclosure and he is living a good life. I splurged to purchase a Night angel wheel and it has been the best purchase. Love watching your little fur buddies, so adorable 🤩. Thanks again... Have a good Christmas 🎄⛄ ❄️

I cannot thank you enough though seriously, my hamster has a big cage now with a good diet and loafs of chew toys and proper care! I had a small cage from pets at home and thought it was fine, he had no chew toys or anything to play with and the wheel was too small, but watching you made me realise what I actually need to keep him happy since he was bar biting and I got angry, he now has a giant cage don't know exactly how big but its over recommended, and so so many chew toys for him and a big house with lots of bedding and a suitable wheel, now my hamster can live a goodl life!

Much love to you and all your gorgeous babies. Sadly our Z our precious lil Syrian boy crossed the rainbow bridge, but of absolute old age last week...we were blessed with 2.5 years. Thank goodness I found your channel and he ended up having such a good, healthy long life because we understood his needs and what he needed. Thank you ❤️

Waddles looks great, can't believe he's 2 already! 🥰My dwarf hamster turned 2 in November. He's doing relatively well for his age but he is showing some signs of aging like sleeping more and using his wheel less. His fur is still pretty and soft. Unfortunately, he has given up on cleaning his scent gland so I now take care of that. His eye's get sticky sometimes too but he is still a zoomy food obsessed hammy. I love him so much and I hope he stays with me for much longer. 🥰❤

Hello! I LOVE your videos and they have helped me learn sooo much about hamster care. I started out with a large critter trail for my first dwarf/hybrid hamster. Now I have my second hamster, Mona, in an ikea detolf! In fact, I adopted her from the rescue you're donating to, All creatures! I am super happy that you're giving the wonderful toys to them for all of their critters to enjoy :)

Hello Victoria! Your hamsters are so cute! I have a short haired Syrian, but I would love for my next hamster to be a long haired Syrian like Dipper. I upgraded my hamsters cage today. He went from a 336.8 to a 776.18 square inch cage. I’ve filled it with all kinds of different substrates, and enrichment. He is so much happier now. I just wanted to to say thank you, because without your videos I wouldn’t have known that my care was wrong. Thank you Victoria!!!❤

When you said dipper is having thick nails, I think that dipper maybe taking in a lot of calcium. But not certain😅

Yeah I'm not sure! His diet is the same as Mabel's and her nails are fine, I think it just is a hit or miss thing that happens with older hams.
