I have taken both my sons moose hunting almost every year since they were 10 or so. Sometimes we get one, sometimes we don't. Sometimes it's downright miserable. But I wouldn't change a thing. Every year more memories are made and more stories can be told. They are 26 and 29 now with sons of their own. I know they will take their sons out someday to pass on the learned skills and knowledge and make memories with my grandsons. THAT makes me smile. - Great video sir!

I had the same thing happen to my first shotgun. Fell, barrel plugged, didn't know. I was 10. My Dad ridiculed me forever. Thing is i sawed the thing off. A couple years later, had it in the field, Game Warden stopped us and fined my Dad. Payback was fantastic. Forget about it.

I stopped at that Taco Bell in Stevens Point driving to Chippewa falls. Stopped 5 times to use the bathroom. Bad idea for sure!!

@2:20 is your reason why today's younger generation does not want to go hunting. lol Ryan, My Dad and I would always go hunting a little bit hungry, because we feel it made us better hunters as far as wanting that deer ever more. (This may sound funny but it works.) Get a deer hunting game that can be played on the PC, and have him play that game. It will train his mind to be patient when hunting, and have more confident when taking the actual shot.
