They look real good. Nice neat installation. Always something leftover at the end. As a young lad myself and my twin brother were helping my Dad work on his car. When his back was turned one of us ran into the shed and grab a few spare nuts to add to the one he had removed. After a few minutes trying to find out were they all went he spotted us laughing and figured it out.

I use an Innovv PowerHub for my grips. You can power up to five accessories with it, LED Spots, GPS, USB, etc., and it will turn them all on or off after 10 seconds. The heated grips will also remember their setting. I've had it for years, and it's been excellent. I notice they've got a new version out now.

When i put heated grips on my first bike, the Ninja 650, the glue leaked in between the throttle sleeve and the bar sticking the sleeve to the bar and i couldn't use the accelerator 😂. Panic stations and i had to spend an hour sorting it out. 😂

Have fitted a fair few sets of oxford hotgrips, even say's in the instructions is to plug them in and heat them up, they slide on the bars with ease then.

They look very similar to my oem Honda heated grips. That was my kind of install! Ticked the option box and they were already installed when I picked up the bike! These lil jobs always sound so simple but end up taking days to complete and years off your life! 😂 Happy Holidays, Vidas ❤

Love the fact that my V Strom 1000xt Adventure came from the factory with heated grips. As I'm getting older, i won't ride without them on my bikes. Life is too short , to be uncomfortable. 👍

Nice one Mr. V. My Triumph ones lasted almost 12 months before dying. I like the controller on these - more integrated and unobtrusive than other brands.

Nice tidy job👍 when I fit some Oxford one's to a vstrom I had I used a Dremel to take the plastic off the end of throttle grip and a knife like you did for the plastic lines and brake cleaner to soften glue so the slid straight off. Ps I like the switch built in no ugly controller on bars . Once again tidy job👍

I’ve fitted heated grips on a few bikes now. It’s never a job I like doing. They look decent and neat. I like the intergraded in the grip button. They Look better than Oxford heated grips. Thank you for entertaining us pal

Over here in Aus we use Hairspray to fit new grips ,slides on nice and easy, sets like glue to easy Richo 🏍🇦🇨

Had these on my transalp since October, not as hot as Oxfords but I love the integrated switch instead of the big block , definitely worth the money

I tell ya what, if there was ever an advert for taking it to the garage to get them fitted, this was it! OR tomake sure you spec them (if you have the choice of course)/buy one that's got them installed from factory.

@@RichyVida I can absolutely understand why. Sometimes you start a job and you get to a point thinking "oh FFS, could have paid someone to do this and created the content of them tackling it". Because I get the need to create content, especially for products you can get affiliate revenue from, if they're any good, or ones you can offer a discount for. Some things are deceptively hard, aren't they?

I much prefer the oxford heated grips, they work so much better, a mate had the UA version not a patch on the oxford took ages to get to temperature and not half as warm as the oxford, granted they do look nice but i find function more important than form in this case

These look decent tbf and not a bad price , be good to know how they compare with the new Oxford pro ones as they look similar but the oxford one are more expensive , looking forward to hearing your long term thoughts , hope your keeping well bud . Yes, it was* due to go back in January, and so I wasn’t going to fit these. But, last week, Suzuki very kindly suggested it stay for another 12 months!

I am about to install a set of Oxford heated grips on a Suzuki C90 Boulevard. Not common thing in my area of Canada. Going on a Newfoundland trip in May and can still be cool there. Any advice on installing these for first time?

Someone suggested hairspray as a lubricant. When it dries it sticks.

Really? Seemed to take a tad longer than usual to get up to temp (kinda 5-10 mins) but once hot, they felt great.

I fitted the new Oxford pro on my 1050 XT. I don’t like them much, the on grip button is too small and stiff. These look better

i don't think my OCD could stand the extra cables, which is why I would only consider a bike with them already factory installed. However for those that don't have that option those look nice enough :)

Well I'm not very happy, paid £75 for my local bike shop to fit heated grips, I bought Oxford tourer premium, they didn't fit my tracer 700 apparently, so they fitted some other premier Oxford grips... They left is incredibly hot, the right Luke warm at best on the highest setting... Very disappointed. I did plan on buying ultimate addones, (can't spell) and was swayed by the Oxford discount and reviews on sports bike shop 🎉

12 mins to say 'plug it in' ;) I've got a £12 cheapo ebay 'wrap on' set. Lasted me 2 winters so far. Just plugs into the USB port - 3 settings. That'll do.

They look good on the bike but remember heated grips and gortex gloves don’t work well in the rain you will end up with wet hands

In UK type climate bikes like that should have heated grips as standard equipment. There's no excuse, it a blunder by Suzuki & other makers when they don't fit them. And as for the bike starting first time after a 2 week lay off? We're not living in the bad old days of pathetic electrics and its not like it was artic cold as the bike was in a garage. I'd be bloody disgusted if it didn't. start first time!

Jesus H......you amatuer, A thin screwdriver with some washing up liqiuid would easily loosen and remove the grips. Are you a new biker?

@@RichyVida No you didn't. I have fitted heated grips on hundreds of bikes. It is very easy. You need the longest thinnest screwdriver and some washing up liquid. Job done.🤡
