can somebody please tell me how is wealth generated form stock market? I mean when Infosys share price increase from 1400 to 1500 where has this additional money come from? and how is Infosys getting benefitted from this increment? I know it has something to do with demand and supply, but I don't know the complete picture. Please help!

Additional money given to infosys's for its potential and growth, money here is not created in air. People are giving money where they are getting value. For your second question how infosys is getting benefitted - All the stakeholders of Infosys who have their part in the infosys shares. Their net wealth is increased. Lets take a simple example, suppose 4 friends bought a wine of worth INR 1000. As we know wine is getting better with time, so suppose after ten years price of wine becomes INR 10,000 so each friend will get INR 2500. Hope you understand, let me know if you have other doubts.
