This is a video brochure of the 1970 Chrysler full size & Imperial vehicles. This is not a documentary, just some visuals of original brochures I cleaned up and restored and added some music and relevant 70's pop culture references. I hope you enjoy!

Love the trippy music, with the upside-down pie Crisco ad and reverse fruit cutting to introduce the grocery getters. Wonderful!

Great video!! Some friends of mine had a Chrysler 300, that was the biggest 2 door coupe in the solar system!!! Also, Marcus Welby drove a big fancy Chrysler of this era & I agree, the Imperials were really cool 😎

Loving the dance show at the end, so fun. I pick #2 and #5. #2 are the best, but #5 the cute guy is in his own groove!

Thank you Tofer! I don't know what it is, or why, but your stuff helps me relax. And in way that feels like my brain is working, but not hurting. Also, even as an Aussie who didn't get them, I do think Imperials of this era looked better than competitors. Styling has shades of the Chrysler Valiant Regals we got locally (I know, technically it's vice versa, but you get what I'm saying)

Hearing you there. I reckon the 1971 CH Chrysler hardtop was just about as close to Imperial styling as you can get.

Slightly obsessed with this video.... the other night when I first discovered it, I was loving that you chose the wonderful Joey Heatherton Serta ad to introduce the 1970 Chrysler brochure. I have studied this brochure so many times, and I couldn't believe the loving treatment it was receiving in this video. I instantly knew this was something special. I've seen a few others comment on how your video brochures evoke emotions, and I definitely agree. My first viewing, things are going just fine for me until the change of tone for Imperial. The somber, dignified music begins, then the majestic Imperial Eagle is revealed. Dang, tears well up in my eyes and a lump in my throat. I'm missing my best friend, Jim, my car buddy. The emotional connection of these brochures, the cars, the passage of time, the longing for a loved one lost, all somehow tied up in this video. I sobbed for the first time in 11 years, missing my best friend. Very cathartic. This lovely video as well as the Buick and Olds videos have brought back so many wonderful memories for me, things I needed to feel again. Thank you Tofer.

I have not been able to read this comment without tearing up. I am touched in a manner I cannot even describe without getting emotional. For these videos to connect on such a personal level is something I always hoped for but was never sure of. Thank you so much for sharing and I am so happy my work could help you heal in some form. Again, I am truly humbled.

Thanks, I really do appreciate the kind words regarding my narration. It's by far the toughest part of making these videos for me. Not the least of which because I'm no fan of the sound of my voice! lol

@@TofersCarTales I know exactly what you mean, I listen to my recorded voice and wonder why everyone else sounds so normal, and I sound like someone who just fell off the tater wagon and only graduated third grade! To my ears you sound like you've had voice coaching, you do a wonderful job. A lot of what you do is geared towards my age group it seems, this last one especially. I was 14 years old in 1970, working for my father at his "service station " (what gas stations were known as then), and cars were my life. It would be a couple more years, but I drove some of those cars owned by customers of ours. More than likely why I love what you do soo much. Thank you.

not your ordinary car brochure, this one comes to life. btw; you really know how to wrestle all these graphics and images together. One of the biggest qualities about your videos is the rewatch-ability. It’s like a good song created to listen again and again.

I never was Chrysler Imperial fan. I did own a Dodge with a big 440 in it and Chrysler LeBaron but never really liked them. However, I did love the engines in them. Great video Tofer! Thank you for posting it...
