RIP. ONE of a kind NEVER to be replicated. I thank my younger son for introducing him to me and my ears. I am better for it. A Mormon Lawyer who didn't play college football YET he coached well and had another career as a stand up comedian, waiting, in heaven. Will be sorely missed. Immortal.

Of couse Leech is not coming now, but he wanted to coach at Miami when he was available & after Randy Shannon was fired. But he was still too controversial (post Texas Tech) for Donna Shalala to consider him. And yes - The U will eventually come back and lots of people do care a lot more than you do !!

I've seen the slums in South Chicago and St. Louis. They are awful and sad. I saw 4 drug deals go down in two days in St. Louis. One happened right across the street from little kids practicing football. There are beautiful old homes rotting to the ground. Very sad.
