As for the dialogue I believe the mention of the engineers not showing up could reference the fact that not everybody showed up in the warehouse at the same time and the two dead people on the slope shows how the undercover cop dies in the ending, plus the slope is similar to the warehouse

About the big head mode in Sons of the Forest: About 20 years ago basically EVERY game had a big head cheat code. Probably a throwback to that time.

The forest theme has a special place in my heart and finding out you can (Spoiler for the easter egg if there's a chance anyone cares about this ee) change Sons of the forest menu theme into The forest's one was a true nostalgia for me. And because this music is playing in the menu right now, I feel like I went back in time and I'm playing the forest alpha on my old laptop, struggling with editing configs and graphics to keep the sweet 27fps the way I used to play all those years ago... Now I launched Sons of the forest on my PC, 100+ FPS, satisfying high settings, but I'll still install The forest on my old laptop to experience the old times... I've been waiting since forever for a Reservoir Dogs easter egg in any game done in the exact way Cyberpunk did it. The only thing I'd change is make each dead character wear clothes of the same colors as their codenames in the movie (Mr White, Mr Orange etc). Say what you will about Cyberpunk, but it does have a great taste for references.

Since playing Cult of the Lamb, I'm curious what all Easter Eggs there are in that game. I do know that two of the swords are based on two famous swords from gaming pop-culture. The Zealous Sword is heavily based on Soul Edge from, well, Soul Edge; known outside of Japan as Soul Blade; and the rest of the Soul Calibur series. The Zealous line of weapons in general very much look like Soul Edge existed in that world and took over the forms of those weapons, fittingly. The other sword is the Merciless Sword, based on Halo's Energy Sword, and, fittingly, has a chance of dealing critical hits, which has to be a reference to the sword's one-hit-kill lunge in the Halo series.
