in apex legends lore Lifeline and Octane always have been good friends. they both disliked their families and found comfort in eachother. since octane's dad, Silva, basically took over the apex games and "reconnected" with octane, lifeline and octane grew further apart from eachother since lifeline doesnt trust silva. In the easter egg we see them talking and trying to reconnect with eachother with lifeline giving him a rabbits foot, since octane had a pet rabbit in his younger days. Its so sweet to see this and seeing octane being emotional for once instead of being an adrenaline junkie all the time.

In Mortal Kombat 1, if you use Johnny Cages 2nd (mid range) fatality you can hear the long running easter egg voice line from the original Mortal Kombat 2s then sound designer Dan Forden. After the opponent is kicked through the car's window and split in half, Johnny presses a button to start the car's nitro boost. As the engine turns on and fire spits out the exhaust, the iconic yet faint "Toasty!" voice line can be heard in the background.

In mk1 invasion, the level "look to la luna" is a reference to a clue given by reptile in mk 1992, also in invasions, there is an achievement called adventure time. Also in golden eye console, there is a mission where you have to use a computer to open a door. Shooting the computer enough will make it blow up. The game will send a scientist down and shooting him drops a key card. more details for johnny cage, I found 2 so far, "two face", when selecting reptile, and "just the facts ma'am" when selecting li mei, My personal favorite in the entire game though, is that the code johnny cage gives you for his mansion is the blood code from mk 1992.

For Video Game Easter Eggs/References to other Video Games: In Zombie Army 4's Ragnarok Part 2 DLC during the first "Survive the Ambush" objective, one of the characters, when giving story exposition about the beginning of the universe, says the line "In primordial space, timeless creatures made waves." This is referencing the exact same line from Marathon 2 of the famous Marathon series.

Resident evil 4 remake dlc has a little Easter egg. Ada wong comes across a taxidermy racoon, you examine it and ada says "it must be fate" referencing how she basically just ran into leon right before u find the raccoon and how the two of them survived racoon city together in resident evil 2

Don't know if you've found it, But in starfield there's a full batman easter egg quest which ends in you becoming batman. {But wait there's more } You are also awarded with the Mantis Ship which a lot like batman will send enemies fleeing ( certain factions ) so you don't have to engage in dogfights across the settled systems if you don't want to .

Don’t know if this has been covered but in starfield while in the prison you can find a terminal with a list of prisoner names, one of the names is Delvin Mallory who is one of the quest providers in Skyrim’s thieves guild.

on the last fights in the story mode of MK1 if you play as johnny cage, one of the enemies you fight is a variant of johnny cage with shao kahn and the name is "John Kahner"

In Mortal Kombat 1's invasions tutorial, the theatre that you can find in the tutorial is from one of the Injustice 2 stages. I think it's the Gotham City Empire Theatre. Even the movies are the same. :D

As I mentioned on the previous Mortal Kombat video, here are some references you haven't mentioned: on the movie set, the enemy Kalima is almost certainly a reference to Temple of Doom (especially since there was the Last Crusade reference and Johnny is dressed like Indiana Jones). In the pyramid battle at the end, you have some references in the names of the combined warriors: Shao Kahn and Johnny Cage become John Kahner (Terminator reference), Reptile and Sindel become Lizard Queen (reference to the band the Doors, with also it being a Simpsons reference for when they went to Duff Gardens), and Reiko and Johnny Cage become Reiko Starr (Beatles reference--to drummer Ringo Starr). Dubious references in the combined warriors bit: Mileena and Quan Chi become Jawspell (reference to the musical Godspell?) and Geras and Reptile become Klockodile (reference to the crocodile in Peter Pan?).

In Starfield, in the sidequest Tapping The Grid, which you start in The Well on New Atlantis, you will eventually end up in an abandoned hotel room. There'll be a computer terminal to interact with, upon doing so, you'll find a message from Newman to Dodgson. This is both a reference to Jurassic Park and Seinfeld, as in Jurassic Park Dodgson hires Dennis Nedry to smuggle dino DNA samples for him and Wayne Knight, who plays Nedry, also portrays Newman in Seinfeld.

Did you know in Tears of the Kingdom, a detail I found is that at the beginning of the game Zelda drops a torch after the Ganondorf wakes up. You can find the same torch at the end of the game this time fallen.

Hey, I messaged in Instagram but figured I put it here too. In the MK1 Invasion mode during the Tutorial, at your second fight the model of a Theatre Entrance is shown. It’s the same theatre from the Injustice 2 Theatre Map. It has the exact style and same movies on it too! Thank you for taking the time to read this!

Fun fact there is a skyrim took an arrow to the knee reference in stray, at one of the bars you can find a guy sitting in a stool and if you sit next to him and talk to him he will say something along the lines of “I used to own a bar like this too, until I took a screwdriver to the knee”

In Starfield you can find an Anakin Skywalker Easter egg for star wars episode 3, revenge of the sith. You can find this easter egg on planet Volt, in the Faraday System, near an autonomous Dogstar Factory.

I have since given up on the game but pan to return to it sometime in the future but in the game titled Have a nice death you play as an overworked death trying to wrestle back control of his company from the sorrows that run each department, now one is designed like the big boy mascot, Waldo who runs the hazardous food department but the easter egg I am talking about is a charm in which it throws an ax everytime you use a cloak attack which is called ...and my ax a reference to the famous line gimili says in LOTR, it might take a few attempts as it only spawns three charms at once and it is randomized

Dunno if this has been covered or said yet. But in starfield when you complete the quest "mantis" and claim the ship. There's a chance space pirates will flee from you if your flying the mantis ship due to it being relating to a hero that hunts them down

I know mortal Kombat Easter eggs have been coming from Johnny, but there are a lot more with the Johnny cage brutalities… one I know of the top of my head is the “you chose poorly” like which I know is a reference to the third Indiana Jones movie where the antagonist picks the wrong grail which kills him. There are also a few other lines during his brutalities which are also references but I haven’t been able to catch them on video😊

I know the games kinda old and I don’t know if you covered this Easter egg already but in cod Cold War in the mission End of the Line there is a part near the end of the mission were you run to an area where you have snipers shooting at the doctors running your direction. Well if you shoot the snipers before there able to kill the doctors you will get an in game award saying “saving phd Ryan” or something along those lines. This is a clear nod to the movie Saving pvt Ryan

Are you sure the second kingdom rush one is a reference to only frodo? I haven't watched lord of the rings so I can assume that frodo has some sort of ability to turn you invisible. But the map is covered in snow, he was hanging from the ceiling, and his sword appears to be glowing blue. Is it possible it's also referencing Star wars? Could it be a double reference?

Okay come on, is no-one gonna mention how scarface's two suits, the 0% complete and the 100% complete suit are two suits Kiryu Kazuma wears in Yakuza 3? The Hawaiian button up shirt is Kiryu's "Summertime Dragon" outfit, and the white suit with a red undershirt is his "Dragon of Dojima" suit! (Albeit, the Dragon of Dojima suit shows more red with the white suit being open for the red to be seen)

In Starfield I named my character Weird Mal (Weird Al and Malcolm Reynolds) and Vasco has always called me "Captain Mal". Not sure if that's an easter egg for Firefly or if the games name algorithm is just smart enough to distinguish first and last names.
