It’s so great. It’s just so much fun. Completely intuitive, great guide docs. Fun as heck. Looping and mashing and random modes are just “chef kiss”.

I just finished assembling the dich studio cover for zeptocore but the cover doesn’t allow the main board to do contact with the rest of the zeptocore. It lights up but it won’t sound. Without the cover it works great.

When uploading samples, can you replace one sample at a time rather than the entire bank of 16? And is it possible to restore the default samples?

the default samples are available at zeptocore.com. and you can replace one sample at a time, by copying and pasting the sample files (0.0.wav, 0.1.wav, etc.) into a new bank.

it has three different tracks - "jump" mode, "mash" mode, and "bass" mode. these different tracks do output onto different tracks of MIDI (each button press)

Now that I have one I have so many questions. I’ve read the faq and everything. Main thing is clock weirdness, I’ve tried to clock it with so many different things (pocket operator, Roland 606, RK-006) and have gotten varied results. Any way to adjust clock input volume to something? Mines just jumping all over the place

How easy would it be to trigger the buttons externally? Im thinking how fun it would be to trigger via my electronic drums but might be wishful thinking? Ordered one anyway! Looks amazing

its in a coming update to trigger the buttons with MIDI IN from external devices :) but you can already do it with MIDI in the browser with javascript (just goto zeptocore.com in Chrome)

@@themanefaces short answer: yes, if you aren't using a computer. zeptocore isn't a midi host. the itty bitty midi does let you do MIDI in from any DIN/trs cable though. if you do have a computer, you can use the USB MIDI too

no, it doesn't have the ability to record on the device. samples should be recorded elsewhere and then put onto the device

it doesn't have an internal sampler, so the samples can only be modulated by the 16+ effects, and slicing them in fun ways

@@infinitedigits Ok. So no overdub mode while punching in notes to record a sequence? I better brush up on my finger drumming in that case. It usually takes me a couple of passes on other devices to get a sequence right. I have slow digits. Lol. Thanks for the reply.✌️

@@infinitedigitsI have the unit,.. and I understand what the question was, once the sequence is playing I’d like to tweak it, so overdub in all 3 modes , jump/mash/bass would be a welcomed feature 😅 btw there is bug in 3.01 the effect sequence (bass too sequencer too) leaves the last punched effect on,even if you toggle it off as a last step of sequence
