Hi Rankovik :) I'm Dee and I own the D7100. The build quality is great! weather proof and feels great in the hand. It's light weight with a lot of punch. Great DR and it is fully manual in movie mode. The only set back is that you can't set your aperture when in movie mode. You have to go out of MM, set the aperture and then go back into MM. But that is minor for what you get in return which is great footage. Hope this helped.

Hello Patrick. Thanks. I may able to comment on your issue after only seeing the video. Do share the link if the video is available online. I usually shoot videos or photos in Manual/ Aperture Mode and set the WB and ISO as per my need. I provided a link in my description, you may have a look at some of the photos shot with D7100.

Hi. I use two 32gb sandisk extreme memory cards. I think it's HD video compliant. Thanks :-)

Hi, i try to shoot with the d7100 also. But is get stripes in my footage. Any idea why? What is the shutterspeed you use? And did you set WB and ISO? Nice quality video!

It's the class of your SD card which matters, not the amound of GB it can carry. You need at least class 4-6 but I recommend Class10 because you do not want to spare money on SD Cards. Next to that, you need to take the double amount of shutterspeed compared to your FPS you're filming. So 60fps = 1/120. Than you know you're in the greenzone. Finally.. the weird textures you get from your video(like yours 777JoMega) is because the videotimeline is not rendered yet. FCP: cmd-r, premier: Enter

Hi. I saw your video. My video is pretty much the same 1.3X and 60fps that you mentioned. Please check if your memory card is HD video compliant (faster & suitable for recording HD video).

I've the same problem as Patrick I think. When i film in 1.3x Crop 60fps I have stripes and it's not smooth. I would be grateful if you can watch my video and give me you're opinion or what could be the reason of this problem. Thank you! Please go to my channel and watch the video "Nikon d7100 60fps problem..."
