Wow, that moose was amazingly restrained in enforcing her boundaries. Woman was breaking the rules of polite moose society. Moose chastised the lady for her disrespect. Lady responds quickly showing appropriate respect. Education complete, the Moose calmly turns her back and walks away. At least, thats how it looks in this short clip. Lol.

Was the moose issued a ticket for assault? No. The lady should have identified as a moose herself.

That idiot is lucky the moose didn't kill them. They are not to be messed with and are very powerful creatures.

The first day I moved to Montana I heard a noise on the front porch. I opened my door and there was a female moose! We both RAN in opposite directions, me to find the camera I hadn't removed from boxes, and she towards the woods. Got a good photo. What a welcome!

I was camping in Newfoundland, and with a cross wind and rising sun behind me, and in the open country, a moose was grazing. It didn't see me and the only thing I could hide behind was a 4ft high dwarfed pine. I was shocked as of all directions it could go it kept slowly grazing and coming my way to within 10 feet of me. I should have stayed farther away but was not aware at the time they can rise up and bat their front hooves at you. She finally noticed me, raised her head from grazing, and holding her head high walked, didn't run, away. I guess now seeing this, what I did was foolish, but it was very exciting. In Minnesota I was very near to one that also came very close to me when I was backpacking. It was very sad as it was delirious from I think brain worm and near death. They get docile and wander at that point. Moose can't live near deer. The deer droppings have some kind of parasite that gets into the moose's brain and slowly kills them. I hope there aren't a lot of deer around Breckenridge. It must be pretty amazing living there, though I could never afford it. Oh, moose are not native to Newfoundland! They were brought there in early 20th century, only I guess about 14 of them and now there are thousands, well... as of when I was there in October '89 ha! Life is too short!

It looks like the elderly lady in the background was trying to run but couldn't. She should have gone to help her instead.
