In Microsoft Excel 365 the Lambda function allows the user to create a custom function in Excel without using vba code!
The .xlsm files and the security (that goes with it) are not necessary to use the Lambda function in Excel.
Long Excel formulas can be created once and then used later by taking a name you chose when creating it.
At the time of writing this Excel tutorial, the Lambda function is only available in the Insider (Beta Channel) edition of Microsoft 365.
The Lambda function will be available very soon for all holders of the Microsoft 365 Excel version.
