When United spent huge money on him I really hoped that my first impression had been wrong, or that he'd improved a lot without me hearing about it. Plus they had a great Defensive Midfielder and strong Central Midfielders. Also good Full backs. In conclusion, he was just carried by teammates so his errors were not obvious then. Maguire has never been above average.
