does she knw anything other than acting ???? she herself admits that she had no backup plan if her acting career had failed to take up. only knows to get defensive about her shortcomings instead of trying to change herself for the better. God was on her side that is why she got lucky with her career.. there are far more talented pple than her who have not got the opportunities !

Its not easy for a woman to survive in Bollywood and infact in any other field..bcoz men always try to put them down..vidya balan was fat shamed and mocked for her fashion sense and appearance for many years in Bollywood but despite all that shit she survived and thats bcoz of her strong will and talent..it has nothing to do with luck.. so u better get inspired from such women instead of pitting against them..

Women can survive and suceed in any field today as times have changed. it all depends on their attitude. it is high time pple change this regressive thinking and start looking at women as equals whether at home or workplace. 99 % of actresses go thru these experiences in bollywood ..in fact actresses are even bodyshamed for gaining wieght during pregnancy so she is not the only one ! and i dont have anything personal against her ..just feel she should be more accepting of her shortcomings as we are all human. we are all entitled to our opinion but i never asked u for ur advice on whom i shud look upto to inspire me.i hope u appreciate that i have the freedom of choice to decide that based on my standards and she defn doesnt hold up to mine. Most bollywood stars are over rated and my idols are much beyond that !

If u go and struggle u will understand what all actresses hav to go through.. I bet u wont survive for a single day

I love Rajeev's style of interviewing. He asks relevant questions and even when he is critiquing someone's work... it is with a lot of respect for the person and the people behind the film. He never asks questions for shock value and he comes across as a genuine person. I wish other journalists out there would learn a thing or two about respecting people's privacy and not doing things for attention.

Vidya madam is an iconic woman in the film industry. Hum Paanch was the reason I liked coming back to home from school, and Lage Raho Munna bhai was the reason I desired to secure a seat in medical school. There is no ending to what aspirants of cinema career can learn from her. 😊

Rajeev, this is a very good conversation. You are very polite to your guests. Because of that they are answering all of your questions. I have watched many of your interviews. Have you planed an interview with Shreya Ghosal in the near future? Because Shreya is also a very humbal, down to earth full package of Exuding positivity and joy like Vidya. In a difficult time like this, we should watch and hear those kind positive things.

Rajeev Masand all that Vidhya is saying most upper middle class and above is going through. How is she getting so excited about birds rather than taking actions with her husband to make actual impact for people who work for them. It will be good to see if everyone gets back to pre corona stage after all this is over. You should take us normal people interview and get different perspective

For the Indian movie ‘ Industry ‘ to redeem itself , the Bollywood clowns need to stay locked down. Underworld funded, under intelligent, over rated. Regional film industries and web series shows need to replace this circus. Vidya Balan is a great actor who outshines others ‘despite’ being in the circus- not because she is in it. She can draw a full house with a solo act:
