I could honestly watch Arma helicopter shenanigans all day. This is awesome, kills or no kills.

This is exactly what I used to do all the time in battlefield Vietnam. I could take the Huey below tree top level at high speed following a winding road, drop off a squad of a dudes near the objective, and zip away how I came in. Some of the most most fun gameplay I've ever experienced.

I was the pilot in the other Cayuse ferrying people back and fore. Was great fun! Are we going to see the ill fated Deathstar run up the river in later videos?

My father was a Vietnam vet heli pilot. Flew Hueys. Taught me how to fly helis when I was 12. Now (IRL at age 51) I'm trying to start my own heli flight school. I love this stuff!

any OH-6 footage I see from the Vietnam war always has an air of the pilots just said "hold my beer" to the rest of the crew. Glad to see that energy was replicated well in Arma.

I am having such a trip watching this, all of my bones are scrunching up with nostalgia for when I was flying the transport hover-copter in battlefield 2142, could never keep people in the guns for buzzing the ground with it hovering, everyone just drop podded out every time. This was legendary to watch, amazing flying!

That's so cool how they actually have the "donuts" drawn on the canopy. Pilots would do that so they could put the donut on an object and their GIB/RIO/co-pilot would know where to look.

This is unrelated to the video but, Drew your stalker series which you have started recently got me into Stalker. I downloaded the modpack today and started playing at like what was it ? 4:00 PM in the evening, I had so much fun in the game I kept playing and when I looked outside the window of my room, it was dark outside, lo and behold time had passed and it was 7:15 PM already. BTW, If you are expecting that in 3 hours I did much...no I did not. Since I was new to the game, I spent like around an hour just exploring spawns as different factions but ended up sticking to be a loner and then the rest two hours completing my first quest since it was all the way in apogrom from the rookie village and all I had was, an mp5 with 30 FMJ rounds. But, I sure had lots of fun. Its the second or third game in which I was so engaged and enjoying it so much that I forgot what time it was.

I'm really loving these Arma helicopter taxi service vids. Although I do wish you spent like half of a vid doing the same but in a bird with larger capacity like huey or whatnot. All in all, great vid as always Drewski, lookin forward to your next one!

when I play this type of game I'm most of the time the support dude, I do the transport, supply runs, medic or support gunner. My brother asks me why am I enjoying not killing people... dude, undirectly, my job helped kill way more people than what my single rifle would have did lol

Have you ever tried flying helicopters in DCS too? That's probably quite an experience with your flight sim gear

IMO, if you are the pilot of a helo which has people on it who are shooting and killing people while you are flying the chopper then you technically had hand in their death. You are all cooperatively working together to kill what is on the ground.

When i play in a mike force server, its either the whole ground force are joining the spike team or green hornet crashing every single heli into the AO but no one wants to recover the wrecks
