Loved this! And omg I got overstimulated just watching the Hanoi parts of the vlog. I’m Vietnamese American and planning to visit Vietnam eventually so hopefully I can handle the bustling city life, the lack of personal space, and the aggressive peddlers lol. And the sights of Sapa were so beautiful! You handled all the hiccups along the way pretty well, I probably would’ve had a breakdown lol. Hope you got some good memories from this trip! Thanks for great vlog 🥰

I have got overstimulated and had panic attacks triggered by the slightest noise in Japan or sometimes for no apparent reason at all. I’m surprised nothing big really affected me during my entire stay in Vietnam 😊 I don’t know how to explain this but what I’m sure is that (speaking based on my experience), despite the hustle and bustle, Vietnamese people are all very fun, chill and open people who never forget to be happy despite hardships 😊 I only had good memories, or probably the good memories made the not so good ones insignificant at all. Hope you’ll have a good time in Vietnam!

1:05 It's called "bánh đa bề bề". "Bánh đa" is that brown noodle, "bề bề" is Mantis shrimp

1:09 the noodles call "bánh đa cua(crab)" or "bánh đa bề bề(mantis shrimp)" with the mantis shrimp, crab, tofu... as topping. This meal came from Hải Phòng province. 3:37 feeling fine for that price. I almost comment like having fun and let me know if you want some recomendation but it not really need to, this trip is over :v love your editing style anyway !

I guess I’ll have to learn Final Cut. 😊 Sapa was interested for me too, I think your Airbnb was very unique, I stayed in a hotel in town. Did you go on the gondola to the big Buddha in the mountains? Hey! I land In Hanoi on Monday morning. What is the best and cheapest way to get from airport to Old quarter?

Definitely install the Grab app (South east asian Uber) book your ride from there and it should cost you no more than 400k VND (mine was 324k VND) for a ride including toll. The price shown on the app is excluding the toll fare. If you want to go cheaper, grab a motorbike from the app (if you’re a backpacker with no big baggages) I’m not too sure if there’s any buses though?

Also, check if your hotel has airport transfer service, cause my ride was slightly cheaper than Grab when my hotel get a taxi for me from old quarter to the airport. It was 300k VND

There are bus from Airport to City Center too, around 40k VND
