There is a huge difference between enjoying yourself in a country for a holiday and actually living there. I would suggest a long holiday let there for say ... month/6 weeks or longer if possible, to see what it's like everyday living there before making any decisions. Talking to locals, finding out all the living costs , schools etc. But I assume this particular episode was just done for viewing figures, I hope.

Hi guys, I left Hest Bank 35 years ago to come to California. I don’t regret it at all. I been all over the states. Florida is expensive and humid but there are other states that are gorgeous Georgia, Texas, Colorado. Carolina . Look around. If you really want to move here. @@KS-ip5xn My husband was a colonel in the US AIR FORCE. We chose to stay and raise our family in California after living in many places. I’m not complaining about how expensive it is we all know which states are the most expensive. Just like back in uk you know the areas that are better to live at and pay more for it. But California doesn’t have humidity it’s a dry heat. Everyone has a choice where they want to live. Hope that explains your concern 😊

Especially to Florida in the Disney region. They'd probably be better off if they really wanted Florida to pick somewhere farther out from the city area and just driving the hour or so to get to Disney when they wanted to go. I'm in Jacksonville and it's only 3 or so hours to get to the Magic Kingdom, and while cost of living is going up like everywhere else it's still cheaper here then on the Kissimmee/Orlando area. Lol

Probably some of the high food prices are related to the area. My pointing out that it includes you seem's to have ruffled your chill. It is very telling when you describe your children's happiness there, that you do so by pointing out they were shielded with money. Looking at statistics and the news that comes out of Florida daily, the children coming from all those trailor parks that poor neighborhoods that engulf the state, would have a very different perspective. You are however correct about one thing, the swamp heat is enough to give anyone a stroke.

I still very much enjoy looking at the Radford’s, especially the kids (they are so cute and funny). And I can’t wait to see them get their dream home as I’m sure they will. And people, they make money from more than one source and that is why they can afford what they do. I’m happy for them because they worked for it so they can afford to do what they do. Can’t wait to see their next video!🤗

Geeze, leave your kids with someone while looking at houses. Food in Florida is a lot more than in nj, and the summers are unbearable with the high heat and humidity. I spent a year living there and moved back to nj. Couldn’t take it. I would suggest renting for a year to be sure you want to stay there!

Houses might be cheaper here in the US, but a lot of other things are more expensive (health care!!! 🤕🤕🤕). Also, many US schools aren't that great and there have recently been A LOT of issues with Florida schools! The summer weather in Florida is VERY hot and humid, but there are plenty of areas in the US with more moderate weather! The househunting was a good excuse for a holiday though and fun content for the show. 😍😍😍 I'm not sure it was a very fair an accurate depiction of life here in America though. 😟😟😟Continued love and health to all from across the pond!!! 💜💜💜

Stay in England. Hire an American builder to oversee the construction of a large home. You will need to purchase bare land, or land with structure on it to be added to to meet your needs. Florida is one of the most expensive states you could chose.

Ok I love this family, but I find this irritating. So they are in a house that is clearly a vacation rent home that is common in that area. The area is more expensive because of DW. They come here and constantly whine about food prices.. why don’t they go to an area that is hecka a lot cheaper? This is such a set up for the show at our expense. I liked it more when they lived their normal lives. Day to day stuff. I am not a flag waving god bless America person. I am a Democrat that doesn’t find this amusing anymore. Especially the boy that gave his snarky not healthy comment. England is right up their in drinking and obesity. Producers of this show should maybe rethink some of their click baity shows and go back to the Radfords we love.

I agree also. The Radfords used to be relatable to most people (apart from the ammount of children) . But now the show seems to lean more towards expensive holidays, and all the things that are out of reach for most viewers. Im hoping it doesnt continue this way, it seems like its all about lavish and expensive purchases lately ( and good luck to them if they can afford it ) but they dont seem as down to earth anymore. Then to talk about how expensive the cost of living is in the US, surely they researched before hand.
