Saltburn-by-the-Sea, commonly referred to as Saltburn, is a seaside town in Redcar and Cleveland, North Yorkshire, England, around 26 miles (42 km) south-east of Hartlepool. As a child I lived 44 Diamond Street, last house on the left. Previously there were no apartment it was just a carpark. The large Red building on the opposite side corner was the Red Lion PH, David Coverdale lived there at the same time. The train station use to be much larger I can still remember the steam trains. Milton Street had a cinema and held children's Saturday matinee. I also remember the pull swings on the beach, horse riders, and sail glider 3 wheel carts. Valley Park had a large monkey puzzle tree. I still return as often as possible. For the memories and because its just so beautiful. Thanks for the memories Saltburn.

I went to my Aunties funeral in Redcar a few years with my mum She said to the guard on the train does this stop at Saltburn The guard replied I hope so there will be one hell of a splash if it doesnt
