Bake time 450 Degrees for 15 minutes
After 10 minutes remove foil and bake until golden brown
Tip for busy amigos- You can also switch to low on broil and bake till golden brown
2nd baking option
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until you see the bubbling and golden brown crispy panko crumbs
Ingredients
Oil
1 box of Macaroni pasta or Fideo elbow pasta
1/2 finely chopped white onion
2 Tbs butter (salted) + 1 Tbs flour
3 Tbs butter (salted) + 1/2 cup panko crumbs
3 cups whipping cream or half and half
3 1/2 cups freshly shredded medium cheddar cheese or your favorite blend
1/2 Tbs Lawry's seasoning
1/2 tsp white pepper
1/4 tsp mustard powder or 1/2 tsp yellow mustard
1/4 tsp Tumeric

Who asked for shorter videos? They’re crazy!! The only reason I watch your channel is to listen to you and Cloud (Sorry, not sure how to spell) banter back and forth. You two make the videos so much fun. I’ve left a comment before saying that I happened upon your channel by chance, one day and I was so glad I did. I made this last night and I'm not exaggerating, this is the best homemade mac and cheese I've ever had. My husband says the same! I am pretty picky about macaroni and cheese... I don't like MOST restaurant's or people's "super amazing" recipes that they swear by. Most people focus way more on the amount of cheese and types of cheeses rather than the actual seasoning. Half of the time, I end up preferring the kraft box mac-n-cheese because at least it has some flavor, lol. This recipe was sooooo good. The flavor seriously comes through beautifully and the texture is PERFECT. Just the right amount of gooeyness and crispiness from the panko. This is now the 6th recipe I have tried from your channel and EVERY SINGLE TIME IT'S A HIT! I love your videos! You've been teaching me how to cook and I have 1000% trust in the recipes you recommend and your processes. Thank you so, so much! My mexican hubby also thanks you (he LOVES the tres leches, flan and birria recipes I've done from your videos!).

If you guys love bacon, cook bacon and onion, drain grease, make Mac and cheese. Fold bacon onion mixture in and serve. My Gramita used to make it that way for us with a cheesy tomato based sauce, it was sooooo bomb!!!!! I make it that way, once in a while too. Delicious. Try one day. Your version looks delicioso too! 😍

hey muchacha! i'm a fan of the longer vids as you two hermanas are so entertaining!!! This looks so yummy. I will give have to give your recipe a try. For a variation, try adding enough cayenne to taste just to give a background of warmth, not smack-your-mama hot. Cheddar and cayenne are a natural pairing. Also, for a southern twist, in your glass pan, put a can of whole stewed tomatoes, then layer the mac n chz on top. That way the tomatoes don't sog out the mac. But like cayenne, tomatoes just naturally pair with cheddar. Love how you say, "do what's comfortable for your family". Same applies here.
