@kiran I admire that the culture of celebrating dasara is came by vijayanagara dynasty and followed by mysore kings.. But saying Mahabharata is nothing related to this ritual is not good.. I think our dharma is such an oldest In the world .. Hence till it is survived no .. This things are common to tell those are all puranas, not true.. .Recently came or known facts were the main reasons.. to believe or follow some old rituals like this some people themselves make history of recently known and erase the ancient one by saying it as just purana..

Those who think Mysore wodeyars are great and especially Mysore state residents.... Think that they they are better in all culture, tradition and rituals.... Should remember that there were greater hindu kings like vijayanagar empire... And it's kings.... So remember vijayanagar kings were greater and better than Mysore... Wodeyars 😂😂😂 who miserably gave their power to tippu Sultan.... And Haider Ali..... As even Vijaynagar kings do lost the battle of TALIKOTA war..... But the legacy of vijayanagar empire continued and later further movies on to rayalseema, Andhrapradesh.... The then wodeyars did not fought back against Deccan sultanate.... Infact they established friendly and diplomatic relations with.... Bijapur sultanate and other sultanates....... But the vijaynagar kings of aravidu.. dynasty later on fought against.... Bijapur sultanate and other sultanates.... Till THEIR last breath...... And the rest is history..... Later Shri Chatrapati shivaji maharaj destroyed the bijapur sultanate.... And other sultanates.... And some way fullfilled the vijaynagar empire aim and vision.... And further.... Continued.... To establish swarajya (in non Indian view it's maratha empire).... And the rest is history..... Jai vijayanagar empire.... The true heirs.... Of Dusshera... And the primary credit should be given to them.... Who formally made this 10 days of festival a grand... Unique festival...

Not a 1% is cared about Vijayanagar!! This is why Mysore Bangalore politics is disgusting!! All developments of Bangalore Mysore were done with treasure of Tremendous Vijaynagar empire!! Even Mysore palace was built in remains of Vijaynagar empire treasure!! Today also successors of Vijaynagar empire are there ....why no respect given to them as of Mysore family members!!
