Unfortunately in board exams, the student's application of knowledge which is memorized is hardly tested. Only rote memory gives marks. That is why entrance exams become necessary. If board exams, specifically state board exams were of a better standard this wouldn't be such a great issue. Just because someone is from a backward background, it doesn't make them eligible for admission to a course. They have to earn it with their brain. P. S: That Arun guy is really envious of learned people. He doesn't talk like an educated guy, especially someone who has completed medicine. He didn't have the brains to crack the entrance exams in India. That's the reason he went to China in the first place. Despite being foreign educated he doesn't even know how to accurately articulate his thoughts.

Try not to select topics in which you are not updated. This particular show is a disaster. Host tried to stay in mid-position but showed his partiality towards younger generation - wrong move. my advise is not to start a topic without proper preparation. I am almost sure that this program must have created a lot of problem among Indian families. Giving a gift to Arun sends a very wrong message to younger generation. May be there is an emotional attachment between the host and Arun.
