Amazing design. My group has taken over an island and we have several of these up, seems more practical than one large design, along with an array of satellite turrets to deny access to the entire area.

Man I love how you manage to build these complicated bases in stages. I've been working on a double bunker base myself, using the stability bunker and inside of that a dropbox bunker. Might have to switch it to a roof bunker after watching this amazing video.

another great build! when building this myself i actually found a way to fit a sleeping bag and 3 small boxes into the tc room too, which can be used to store and transfer more valuable gear. will definatelly be using this idea next wipe!

if you add u stairs into the stability bunker (tc area), you can kind of eliminate the sight of lower boxes at the 550 ish mark in the video, doesn't help much, but every bit helps

I really love those auto turret pods!!

With the outside turret as optional you could setup an impact electricity config and use a motion detection sensor that automatically opens the garage doors revealing the turret, making it impossible for someone to door camp and hide around the areas where you can't see.

figured a way of making this base cost 2,415 less stone, 950 less metal and 31 less hq with same strength and room. Upkeep is 2,943 stone, 1,112 metal and 35hq

I build the Viking on Rustified EU Main and got raided. The server shot down, I tried to reconnect a few times, but it was still down. Checked it again after 10 minutes and 4 guys were inside my base. They must have reconnected quite fast after the server was up again and broke throught the 3-4 metal sheet doors and 1 flame turret. Since I reconnected a few mintues later than them, I wasn't able to put up the bunker. I had the inner part in sheet metal, the tc partly in armor, but still lacked enough HQM to upgraded it to all HQM. They destroyed my TC and put some sheet metal doors up, so my base was lost. Raiding after server shut down is cheap, but against bunker bases it works quite well. Have to remember to spam the reconnect button in the future. Anyway I see few problems with this build: - It obvious where the entrance is. - There is no second way out. - With all the glass windows raiders can see what awaits them after the first 3 sheet metal doors. - No good places for shotgun traps to stop or slow down raiders - Main area is quite big and needs a lot of sheet metal to protect it. No need to have furnacase and that many boxes protected that well. Better to create a very save 1x1for most important 7 boxes.

went on eu2 and built this base with my own twist.I buildt the roof bunker in metal and the other bunker in metal but no honeycomb in stone, i barely used any stone exept the airlock. entire base took me two good farming runs focusing on metal and trading the stone i farmed for wood. then i just got a bunch of small furnaces from a decayed base and melted all the metal. the base was attempted raided 3 times, they gave up after two sheet metal doors when the bunker was visible every time. the base has survives 1 1/2 weeks and counting.

Note if u destroy the first doors and then soft side the hq foundation and break the wooden half wall then soft side other foundation u get both the bunkers if ur detecated to raid it thats the cheapest

Ok now seriously. This base really costs 1,5k metal frags and 41 HQM? If this is real and not some clever editing this is the *pinnacle* of current base designs. Archimedes would be proud of this base. 13 boxes + 2 lockers is all you need even with 3 people. The only thing you could possibly add as a cherry on this cake is roof access. But that can be done atop the working area easily.

The first one of the main loot room u built. You might be able to actually build a half wall next to the roof of the TC too actually seal it completly of. This achivable by using different foundation hight there aswell. Im not sure though just a thought that passed through my mind whilst watching. Could be wrong. Great build tho perfect balance of simplicity and smart sulotions for a cheap and secure base

As a long time solo player (since early legacy) I don't see myself ever using this. Takes too much time to build and upkeep a base with more storage than I'll ever use. The base is also beefy and an attractive raiding prospect. I prefer my bases to be smaller, simpler, and able to be built in pieces (trying to build one big base as a solo with everything on you isn't the most practical or smartest idea). This base is nice in theory, but in practice I don't see it being optimal at all for a solo. This base seems more like something a trio would use.

If I was a Facepunch employee I would remove high foundations after watching this mouthfull of exploits.

Hi Evil Wurst, I want to say you have amazing creativity at building. The only thing message that I want to get across is that this bunker design is not very good due to an exposed bunker foundation. You barely need rockets to raid this as you can jackhammer raid this base very easily. 10 jackhammers and some explosive ammo can get me all the loot and tc in this base. If you leave 100% stability foundations exposed that are creating your stability bunker exposed, then they can be picked, wooden speared or jackhammered. If possible make a new bunker design covering the foundations please. I would love to use your base design just don’t want to be offlined so easily. Please reach back at me if you could and I can show you such a simple design of mine that is 24 rockets to main loot and bunker with 1 later of honey comb. It relies heavy on HQM so it’s not good for casuals. I would love to see your designs as they are very feasible.

im a pretty skilled builder and i have designed a base similar to this and i would like to tell you that you can place a sleeping bag and a box in the TC part so you can have a body full of loot inside and double the items you can fit in the bunker

Hi evil i had some questions. Im trying to build hjunes hibernator rn. Isnt this just that same thing as the hibernator but with less storage and less upkeep? Is it possible to make this base a 40 rocket base if u metal out the honey comb and entirely armour out the 1st bunkers walls and ceilings?
