I decided to carve a series of Norse deities, because I noticed that they are some of my most appreciated works! And I have to admit, I really like them too.
This time, Martina and I got ourselves in a place that was very difficult to reach to do the final shooting. We made our way through branches and huge stones with the risk of falling into the river... but it was worth it! 😅

I am well into the forest spirit carving and look forward to emailing you some pics and short video when done. I am going to order some wax and procure some danish or linseed oil. I will probably tackle the viking odin next and look forward to your next carving!

Very nice work! I just subscribed to your channel. Your technique is different from all the other carvers I watch. Most carvers start their faces on the corners. I'm interested in trying this method out.

Veramente spettacolari i tuoi video, montaggi e musiche sempre azzeccate.. e poi i tuoi lavori sono veramente ben fatti.. era un po' che cercavo un canale di carving in italiano e un paio di giorni fa ti ho scoperto e mi hai fatto venire la voglia di riprovarci, bravissimo.. ti do un idea perché non fai una serie di video in cui scolpisci bastoni da camminata? Magari con essenze che si trovano nei boschi come il castagno.. hai una gran mano e potresti tranquillamente farci un bel business oltretutto..

Grazie mille 😊🙏🏻 Con il dremel è tutt'altra tecnica, per come sono io meglio coltelli e scalpelli. Comunque apprezzo molto i lavori di chi lo usa, però ti deve piacere la polvere e il rumore, per me l'intaglio è anche contemplazione e relax.
