Viking Venus From The Air - Stunning Aerial View of this Cruise Ship at Holyhead Port - [4K]

Welcome to cruise season on the Isle of Anglesey. The island itself, which sits off of the North West coast of Wales, is a very wet, windy and baron place to be in the winter. The spring and summer however, are transformative, and many of the locations here can look like exotic places across the world. Mountains, forests, rivers, cool calm waters, whether they are on rivers, or in the sea, and stunning, long, incredibly clean beaches.
When spring comes then, we welcome cruise ships to Holyhead port, usually up until around October.
This is the Viking Venus, and is one of a number of ships similar (like the Viking Jupiter), that we have already filmed over on North Wales Boats and Planes. You can see the Jupiter here:

Holyhead port and harbour are two of the most unexpectedly beautiful places on the Isle of Anglesey (Ynys Môn). It's a port that saw its opening in 1880, with the breakwater being finished in 1873.
The port is currently managed by Stena Line, and has a wealth of history, as well as an immense amount of scenery and wildlife. It's not uncommon here to see dolphins, porpoises and seals, among the many sea birds in the area.
We usually film at the port in Holyhead for our sister channel, North Wales Boats and Planes. Please go and check it out if you're interested in amazing Marine and Aviation machines and engineering.

Thanks Steve, yeah it was a fun shoot. Windy though, with some hairy moments at times as an RAF helicopter was rehearsing dropping crew onto vessels out at sea, and kept coming close meaning we had to drop low and bring it back, but it was fun.

Thank you very much! I did just take a look at your ship video and it's excellent. I loved how you did it all in one shot. It really is superb. The music was great too. I had a look at some more of your videos, and some of your music, and it's excellent. Can it be used as 'copyright free', music with attribution maybe, or do you sell it? I've been a drummer for 30 odd years, grew up loving house music and do quite a few mixes of other people's tunes, as well as less often, actually writing some. Only one so far to completion. Brilliant though - subbed.

@@EmmaBailey thank you for your kind words emma, means a lot :) my released tunes are available on all the major platforms (itunes, amazon and so on) ive been doing my own music for as long as i can remember, its the drone thing i'm newbie at. only picked up my first drone in march (this year) so im still only learning to fly (cinematically 😣) and trying get my head around editing the footage and colour grading 😬😱 but im getting better with every flight 🤞as far as i know you can freely use any of my tunes, i think it just puts an advert on the video and a link to the music (i think) ......... look forward to seeing your future videos 😉

Thanks so much! It's really great reading comments like this! Yes, weather permitting we will be (I've got the entire Cruise Schedule PDF in my calendar..lol). We're hoping to be at the Portmeirion Steampunk event this weekend too though, and we have been constructing a 'Teapot Racer', for it, so it will depend entirely on energy levels. By all accounts, the Emerald Princess is much bigger?
