I cannot sit here and say we aren't signing a center forward this summer but every reliable journalist has said that Arsenal don't want a center forward and are actually prioritizing wingers. Sesko was a market opportunity as he is a generational striking talent who had a 50 mill release clause. Branthwaite is not worth 70 mill. If I were United I wouldn't go higher than 50 max.

Gyokeres doesn't make sense now as a priority signing for Arsenal. We need a wide forward and a versatile mid more. Branthwaite for £35m is a joke. Should be atpeast £55m IMO. You don't make such centrebacks anymore

Tbh I only seen Gyokeres sparingly during his Coventry stint and looked a good player since then not seen him . Obviously has progressed very well but other than that know nothing about him . But the quietness around him it's typical Arsenal .

The only reason it makes sense why Arsenal can maybe quickly sign this guy for way less than Sporting clearly wanted to me has to do with his knee injury/surgery he recently had and now trust arsenal to go and sign another striker with a knee problem coming to a more intense and physical league tin pot club go and sign toney or osimhen
